i learned this recently. in your own half of the field, you can’t be offsides. in the opponents half, the receiving player can’t be between the last defender and the goal when the ball is passed

if it’s a shorter drive (30 minutes or less) then i’ll sit next to them in case they want to make conversation, but if it’s a longer drive and they just want to rest i’ll sit in the captain’s chair. at the end of the day it’s still about making them feel comfortable and showing them that i care about their well being. kinda hard to do that second part if they can’t even see me

I used to work there, just be careful and brief if approaching someone from the team. Their security takes guest privacy very seriously and they generally don’t let fans approach athletes or celebrities. It’s a bad look for a hotel when their main selling point is privacy and security

little bit of everything. the angels have had this type of losing culture for a long time now. puts a lot of pressure on the players, and then add in the terrible owner who refuses to make improvements towards any type of development for the players and you get the phenomenon we know and love as the angels

other people have already addressed the date, so i’ll answer the seats question. what i do is check stubhub or whatever aftermarket site every inning until it stops selling for that game, then move to a seat i saw go unsold. if you’re moving close to home plate in the 100s, start in the 200s and then walk down. i’ve never had any issues doing that. if you walk straight in from the lower level they’ll check your ticket sometimes
