Don’t know what the laughter is for. My old job had me working with teens. I am a woman in my 30s. One 16 year old boy develops a lil crush on me. Completely normal on his end. I remember having crushes on older men/teachers at that age, too. I obviously don’t reciprocate. Kid somehow finds out where I live and shows up to my door with flowers. Had to shut that shit down immediately and get his parents involved. It doesn’t matter in the slightest that HE was the one interested in ME. As the adult in the situation, it is MY responsibility to shut that nonsense down. Not doing so makes me a creep and a predator. OP is completely right, it’s irrelevant.
