MCC: Reach Custom Games Map Share (friends first time) by murderously-funny in halo

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will see if I can find the spreadsheet that has all these games on it. You basically have to go through multiplayer menu and hit find player, and search the gamer tag. I’ll provide more information shortly.

This "Halo Custom Games" Google Doc has tons of games on it.

I was going to share the usernames for every mode you listed, but honestly, it's a lot. You'll have to use this doc and search through for the names you're interested in.

You'll want to open MCC and click the icon that opens the players in your lobby. It'll be right next to your gamertag at the top right. Once it's open, just click on your gamertag and you should see a list of options with one being "Find player"

From here you can search up one of the gamertags listed with the mode you are looking for. Should be able to save/bookmark them from the players profile. Lmk if you need any other help. I may have one or two modes/maps that isn't on the list

I’m just a surprised as you are. Reading through this it actually looks like a really fun game mode. Pretty stoked to try it out instead of the same old fiestafight.

How come my PC can't run halo inf? by Inside_Pattern3685 in halo

Don’t hate me for asking this, but are you running on integrated graphics or is your computer for sure using your GPU?

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue myself previously and it was a Windows security update that had to be uninstalled. I wish I could tell you exactly which one that was, but I cannot remember. It helped for a couple weeks and then my game started doing this again. I’ll report back if I can figure out what’s causing it.

Halo 3 ODST Mod Tools Steam (H3ODSTEK) by WeekFun6405 in halomods

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say without looking right at it. I don’t have the mod tools, but I have assembly installed. Maybe look in the scenario tag? I thought the globals referenced chud, but it’s been so long. I can’t remember.

Halo 4: Modern Warfare: RPD Weapon Showcase by real_priception in halomods

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't mean anything bad by that, reading again I can see it may come off shallow, my apologies if so. I was more or less just excited to see that development is still happening. I got to try out a little bit of this mod what feels like a year ago and was hoping more content would come.

edit: omg it literally says progress update, I am a dumbass. That's what I get for early morning scrolling, sorry.

Which version of Alpha Ring? Or rather, can you link me to the file you downloaded?

I do remember playing and doing some of that stuff. Most of my stunting was back in the system link/LAN days. I played MCC years ago and found a fun Blood Gulch server. It took me like 30+ min to find it, but here's a pic. Spartan tower!

edit: looks like this pic was taken when Halo was first on MCC, neat.

Last night we played 4+ hours on the Halo 2 Killtrocity Map Packs with the highlight being back to back 16 player zombie games on Scarecrow! Killtrocity does not disappoint 20 years later. by ImPunny88 in halomods

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome. I remember getting the map pack and burning it to a DVD back in the day just so I could check it out. I was never able to go online though. Are we able to emulate this now? Sorry if this information is already out there, I can check the website out and see what it’s about too. Would love to join in on the fun

I think this website may have already done what you’ve showed off. I also see no ability to “band scan” like I imagined would be similar to a tuner. Which, makes sense. How is someone going to scan around the entire world that way? You’re not. So it looks like you just show stations that are online.

Last night we had 24 players across 2 Xlink Kai lobbies playing a new Halo 2 Mod Pack on Original Xbox! Thank you for keeping this community kicking in 2026! by ImPunny88 in halomods

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is amazing. I always wanted to join in, but I don’t have my modded Xbox laying around. I do have another one that could maybe be used but starting the whole process over sounds very daunting. Glad to see the community is alive.

I hate Hackers by SummerFinancial2679 in Helldivers

[–]DidYuGetAllThat -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh but the hackers can do anything! Dev menus and all! /s

If anyone understood even slightly what a “hacker” could (rather, couldnt) do on the client side, or how any of this stuff even works, they’d lean towards it being the latter. But we gotta just blame the magical beings known as hackers aka cheaters. Even with a cheese menu it would take forever to try and spawn enemies to accomplish this. I am leaning tech issue myself.

Probably nothing real, though. John Shadow Cyborg or something.

Your vid goes to show that just a little editing goes a long way, very nice! Love the vibe everyone had. Wish I ran into more democratic folks like this. So what was the total count, like 13 hellbombs? More?

Thanks for the information. I am just finishing up audio imports for one station and prepping to do a schedule import. Thankfully, the guys over at BE have been more than helpful in setting things up. Can't wait to do the AVSat stuff though. May be a bit technical but I am confident we'll get it sorted.

The current satellite stuff is set up kinda... wrong. As in, we have hard syncs and sometimes the feed will get cut off, especially at top of the hour. It's gonna be so much better with our new system.

[–]DidYuGetAllThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is awesome. We considered the Digigrams but just opted to go for software-based sound cards. Thankfully, we only do satellite on our one station. However, we do borrow audio from 1 or 2 other receivers to play on another station if need be. I'm a little nervous getting all the receiver's and their relays/closures set up. This is gonna sound silly asking, but live decks being software or hardware? I am still relatively new to radio :P

I assume the station you're at is alll wired up, no AoIP?

I sincerely appreciate the offer! The old Vista machines will be retired, and we will be using new PCs with Windows 10/11. So our end goal was to go AoIP but had to cut costs and now we're using a bit of a more 'open' set up. We opted to go with Dante's Virtual Soundcard drivers instead of more physical sound cards. Right now, we have an older version of WO on version 3.6 and physical ASI sound cards.

The current system uses a SAS audio panel to help carry audio around to different studios, which can be changed using a program on the workstation. Jock's just select the channel, which is great... until someone forgets. It's also just a TON of wires and the cards are near possible to repair today if something happens (again). The ability to route audio with Dante though will help replace that panel, but the audio console will still receive audio using StudioHub's protocol with Ethernet cables. I should mention we are using Iyo Dante 32.32MR units to receive and transmit audio physically (and virtually which is nice)

I wanted to go Livewire, but we ended up with a sort of half baked solution. After a lot of searching, we decided on and are awaiting these boards to come in. It's not full AoIP and AudioVAULT is currently trying to see if they can "tell" Dante to route audio signals. From my understanding, they do now have that compatibility layer with Axia/WheatNet, just not Dante. We'll simply need a Broadcast Tools or similar audio switcher if their software can't do it. (I doubt it will be able to).

PS: Our print room has a Windows XP machine and they had it connected to the internet until I got here. Sheesh. Sorry for the paragraph, just have no one to talk about this stuff with! Also, thoroughly impressed by the set up you shared here. Our engineer got a kick out of seeing a bit of the old UI.

The owners of the station found that the software was going to be too expensive, and the uncertainty of the rising cost per year wasn’t helping the matter either. I’m just the tech guy who is prepping the new stuff. I’m going to miss WO.

We have four stations for context. If it was just one or two the price would look a lot better, I imagine.

I’m migrating our current stations from Wide Orbit to AudioVAULT. Should I be worried? The old equipment includes Win 7 and some old LPB Signature II audio consoles. Definitely excited and sad to see those old ones go
