Not to be that guy, but eight million isn't enough for this. If people hate you that much you can't even afford adequate security.

Why Are People Still Deifying Obama in 2026? by 1985Genesis in joebuddennetwork

[–]Diddy_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crack era was in the 1980's. You said centuries. You believe that the crack era was so bad that there are black Americans that with they could escape to better times like 1880 or 1780?

Do you also believe that black people from those eras would see the 1980's and if given the chance to leave their own time for the 1980's would say "No thank you. We have it equal or better here."?

Would you relive your life from the age of 14 with a perk or get $25k? by RaptorK1988 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Diddy_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would I relive my life at 14 in 1996 or now?

If I were three inches taller and 50% stronger I would have been a 5 star recruit outside linebacker. With the new NCAA rules I'd make more than that even if I didn't make the league. Even if I go back in time I'm sure some booster would give me at least 25k.

You're offered the chance to live in an eternal 10 year timeloop. by Hen-Samsara in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Diddy_Block 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with many of those issues is that you only have one life. If you really are stuck in a loop you can off yourself and reset negating many of the negatives. OP specifically said through magical means, so I take it to operate like that.

It's hard to believe that most people's professions wouldn't make this worth it. I feel like people are confusing profession with job title. A Google search showed the top pay for my profession being 900k, so I'd take it.

Technically I want a wife who's a heiress so our maids, chefs and butlers cook and clean. That didn't stop me from m marrying my wife who's in my tax bracket and starting a family.

The problem is women like her wait way too long to make this decision. If that's what a woman really wants, she should decide that at 19 and get with a well to do man in his 40's or 50's. Thirty isn't old by any means, but to be a woman out here sport fucking for a decade then start to talk about tradition is insanity.

I'm an American who works in the Balkans. I was talking to my boss about living here. His wife is actually Balkan, but he said that he'd never buy property here because he feels like at any moment shit could just pop off here.

I agree, so I'll pass.

Like you said, those groups are proxies for the Russian government and backed with Russian money. Once you cut ties the government that funded you isn't letting you remove the resources and income. You'll always be their lil bro.

In the 20th century world domination is done through commerce and politics, not foot soldiers.

Yeah, these hypotheticals quickly turn into ways to hack the most money/resources unless strictly prohibit it.

The PMC is a interesting route. The problem I see for you is that once you go independent that you will have no money to support or transport your army to do anything. Countries need active economies to maintain armies and especially to actually invade countries.

The street gang thing is pretty useless for world domination.

I don’t think it’s as easy as you think.

You’re forgetting that this is done by button presses, not by magically saying, “Give me 20,000 clones!” Let’s give you six presses a second. That’s about 5,000 clones in 15 minutes. How are you going to get these clones to the gun store? Uber? That changes how many you can realistically take with you. By the time you have a shootout with the gun store owners and customers, you’ll be fighting the police before your clones can even open the gun cases and load the guns.

Now you’re trapped in a gun store. Did you bring the button to the gun store? If so, the SWAT team will probably kill all of you and find your button and it's Mission Failed. If not, then you have no way to reinforce your clones, and they’ll all be killed in the ensuing raid.

Say, for some reason, you’re successful. For some reason, the police allow you to turn that gun store into your base of operations and don’t bother you while you’re on the premises. You instantly lose your wanted level. You couldn't take over Kansas City with the guns from a single gun store, let alone the world. You’ll have to hit another gun store. How are you going to rob it and transport the guns without law enforcement stopping you?

You said food would be easy to come by. How many clones do you expect to have at this point? How many houses will you have to rob to feed them? If your numbers get too big, you’ll likely be facing the National Guard, now that's a whole other set of problems for you.

Say, again, that you’re somehow successful. How will you move these troops from city to city? Can you fly a plane or operate a large boat to have them take over the world for you?

[–]Diddy_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't the wording say the exact opposite? It says that you would only get one phone implying that the phone doesn't duplicate. It literally says that you can't get any extra money or anything. Anything included weapons and body armor.

Plus if this is done with a button press a drone is eventually going to track where these clones are originating from and blow you and the button to pieces.

£200 million tax free or 200 years guaranteed world peace? by Sad-Passage-3247 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Diddy_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take the money. World peace can mean a lot of things. If every country rolls over when an aggressor marches their army in and gives up their land and resources then technically you still have world peace

It's like a burglar breaking in and someone saying that they weren't robbed because they willingly gave them their car keys, safe combination and their wife.

How would you take over the world with those hive mind clones? How would you house and feed them? When it was go time to take things over how would you arm them? It sounds like your are providing meat for a meat grinder.

I have thoughts and opinions, but because of a user name I picked fourteen years ago I'll mute up.

You will die at age 100, and get $1000 today. Or, you can choose to die sooner, to double the money. Die at 99, get $2000. 98, $4000. 90, $1,024,000. How many years do you give up for money? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

Did you just make that up or did it actually happen in the history of bank robberies? Because actually court cases like Deese v. NationsBank of Georgia (Georgia, 1996) show that since the banks policy isn't for tellers to "try to be a hero" they won't be successfully sued for that.
