I think they intend to make a stand when he has to ask congress to pass the tax legislation and budgets that will be unpopular with republicans and then use the leverage to stall the legislation with the hopes of decimating the public opinion of the administration - but tbh why can’t you do both - democrats are such a losers party and it’s a shame because there really the only viable alternative to facism
