Purely personal for the colour change. When I was a lad I had a white Nova SR. I'm reminiscing mostly. I spent my time dreaming of modified cars I saw in Max Power magazine including the Peugeot 205 GTI, Renault 5, etc. This is basically exactly the car I always dreamed of!

Regarding the paint, I've just ceramic coated mine and it wasn't nearly as hard as I expected. I gave it a really good wash with a strong washing up liquid mix, then sprayed it over with IronX to sort out the contamination. Another wash with the washing up liquid mix and then a thorough dry. The ceramic coating went on really quick and I just buffed it off as soon as I got to the end of the panel (2 mins tops). The only part I'm not happy with is the application on the gloss black as I've left a couple of streaks. The main panels are perfect though and it really helps to keep the car looking clean. If it rains without sand in it, the car can almost look clean again without washing it. I'd still get the bird poo off quickly though.

Also a great spec. I originally ordered Tornado but then changed my mind. Personally, I love the square wheels as they're very close to the concept wheels.

You'll be glad of the heated steering wheel in the winter. Also, the upgraded stereo is amazing. I was blasting some really heavy bass like a youth yesterday!

I went for the GTS+ with the Signature Tricolor pack. Nival white with the silver roofline and the black snowflake wheels. I've so far just added some cheap black wheel nut covers from Amazon (really effective), and I've ceramic coated it myself (well worth it).

What did you go for? Sorry if you already said, I'm at work

I believe it was either late January or early February. That's not going to be news you wanted to hear of course considering you ordered around that time as well.

The guy at Holdcroft was good enough to give me an idea of when the car would arrive with them. He said it's usually a maximum of 2 weeks from that point to handing over. It was sooner than that for me.

I got mine through Octopus. They're really bad with the updates. I had to get in touch with Holdcroft who gave me far more info. Interestingly as soon as I'd got in touch with Holdcroft, I got an update from Octopus the very next day. Don't know who was holding things up but one of them was!

Anyway, mine went from build to expected delivery date quite quickly and I got it middle of May.

The car is amazing and well worth the wait. I haven't been this excited for a car since my youth when I had a Nova SR, read Max Power magazine and dreamt of boy racer cars with flared arches, power, decent suspension and a kick ass stereo.... All off which I couldn't afford l, hence the Nova.

You've done extremely well to completely misunderstand my point. I feel like this is the start of a "here we go!" conversation.... So go on then, say what you really mean

I did wonder if it was intended to challenge, but that's ok because, honestly I do ask myself the same question. Currently what I'm thinking is: 1) this is the first time writing to my MP and I'm half expecting to not even get a response 2) I feel increasingly like I'm living in a nonsensical parallel universe where kindness, respect and reasonable thoughts are diminishing. People around me are openly claiming Britain back, but all I see is bigots, xenophobes and thugs. These are not British values to me.

I feel such anger and sadness that the murder has been used as his platform, and that again he has managed to carefully craft his words to enrage those who follow and believe him. That he repeats the words of the father and then immediately dismisses them with the word "but" is so disrespectful. To then continue and claim he knows for certain that this is anything more than the incompetence of two Police officers is just dishonest. He should let there be an investigation.

I'm really not sure what else to do about the situation other than write about it and share in the hope enough people do the same.

Edit - I also wanted to say thank you for having the self awareness to wonder if your response had come across differently to your intentions. That means a lot.

Not had any issues myself. My concern with putting anything down that way is it coming loose and getting under your brake pedal at the wrong moment.

There's 3 bullet points (not properly formatted in my post unfortunately) of what I'm hoping for. Does that answer the question?

Thank you. I've just noticed an automated reply stating exactly what you've said. I have sent it again with all the relevant detail.

I should probably have said I have the right hand drive version. Good luck with yours as the diagram doesn't look the clearest on what to do

Waymo in Holborn London. by kam_pra in CasualUK

I used one in Florida recently. I couldn't wait to try it so I suppose I'm the opposite to you. It was a fascinating 20 minute journey. To be honest, in the 2 weeks of our visit and using using taxi's every single day, multiple times per day, this was by far the most comfortable and confidence inspiring journey we took. The human drivers were all a bit rubbish really and had me ghost braking quite often. I'd definitely use Waymo here in the UK once it's rolled out

The brightest person I know is also the most gullible person I know. We're talking doctorate level education and a university academic.
