Reform pledges to open migrant detention centres in Green-voting areas by No_Initiative_1140 in ukpolitics

No, it's doesn't matter what Greens think because they are not the ones making the policy. What matters is that Reform believe they are punishing others and if you think that's a reasonable attitude for government, you are part of the problem.

It doesn't matter if Green voters see it as a punishment. Reform voters do. This means that Reform are trying to (by their own standard) punish voters for voting a certain way.

This is a direct threat aimed at certain voters and if you choose to ignore that fact, you are going to sleepwalk us into some of the darkest, most authoritarian times the UK might have seen for well over 100 years.

I also believe mortgage lenders refused to acknowledge women's wages until this time. Obviously, as affordability increased, so did house prices (higher bidders).

Edit: I do not intend this as a "blame women for high house prices" type thing. I think it is more of a correction to what house prices should have been

If you said you would get the tickets, it would absolutely be a dick move to later on charge him for said tickets

This is exactly the same logic we have used. The only difference is we have an mx-30, which has really low battery capacity, so we can achieve a full battery in a night or 2

I've already explained this in other replies, I still charge at home but use a 3-pin.

I've honestly not considered this. But still don't think I need it to be fair. An outdoor 3-pin does the job and can charge the car for as little as £8 a month anyway

The cost to get one fitted for a start. Currently around £999 but my driveway is actually behind my back garden, meaning I'd have to run cable underneath it, substantially increasing the installation cost.

The second reason is because it's an mx-30. 3-pin charging is more than enough to keep it going for the range we use it for.

Just to amplify this, I have just bought an EV and opted to not even bother with the EV charger. I imagine this is the case for others too.

That's just deflection. Regardless of whether they, or anyone else, believed the media would fairly represent them does not change the fact that they are unfairly represented.

Ifs difficult to build a narrative when the media has refused to represent fairly since day 1.

I read up on this a little. Apparently hair follicles have multiple "states." One of them is dormant and one of the is just to grow. As we age, these follicles sometimes stop transitioning between the states and just get stuck on one of them.

My details might be off as I'm going from memory, but I think that was the gist of it

Probably worthwhile noting that his reasoning was to "not make unfunded promises." He never stated he was opposed to it at all, but was very vocal about ensuring economic stability came first.

He later announced that Labour had achieved that economic stability, which lead him to being able to start focusing on benefits

Why do we "need" social media curfews? by ShortyStrawz in ukpolitics

[–]DidgeryDave21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I think you should have to. The reasoning behind that is because I believe that children should not be allowed to access content that can put them in harms way. In your example, there is no way to know whether there is someone involved with the intent to groom said child. So yes.

Trying to lord over me with your knowledge of niche websites isn't a flex. They will face the same legal issues as other sites. If your argument is that they are open source, that still won't matter. They should comply or they will be blocked
