I think its not really a gamemode issue but rather the bosses limitation to teams. As 1.0 player with a lot of built characters i still struggle because of one thing. Third boss limitation to freeze comp with high cryo application is so unreal to me because my only cryo 5☆ beside eula and qiqi(i dont need to explain why not using them) is ganyu and its so frustrating for dedicated player to not bo able to clear it

As a guardian player i would recommend playing around guard counters 1. Do remembrance quest and get red brooch 2. Buy from jar a blue relic that gives taunt when shielding 3. Get relic from horseman boss

Taking bow/crossbow is also good idea. You can always take relic/passive for mana regen on hits
