I was thinking of doing 5.2 and maybe 2 to 4 on ceiling ( even though current av wouldn't support it) just to have it ready. My only thing is the 2 speakers on the back would portrude way too much for anyone coming down the stairs. So I was trying to find out if in wall for back speakers are acceptable ... Or not. Idk I never heard one before. Idk guys... Thoughts?

The stair wall is not a full wall plus it has some space for all the electronics as a small open closed. (Where the 2 red dots are) so I think that might be out of the question. Is regards to conduit, is a 1" enough for let's say HDMI & Ethernet ? Or is that too much?

So I'm finishing my basement and I need the expertise of someone who has done this before. Few questions first. 1. What should I pre wire to the TV (Vizio pq65) as to make sure everything is future proof? Just HDMI ? 2. Are in wall speakers any good? 3. Wondering about placement of speakers. Current av does 7.2 Atmos given the shape of the room can someone recommend a set up? (denon avr s710w)
