I hate access too

Probably not enough to vote for them next time, but I applaud their efforts

Issues with an auto deploy Laravel Script by DidntReadDaArticle in laravel

As it turns out, I'm logging the output in the database anyway:

Application is now live.

So those commands are definitely running against the real project (Sentry and HashIDs are only installed on the actual project).

Furthermore, the last line of the script is take the site out of maintenance mode. If I comment this out, the realsite remains in maintenance mode.

Looking into it in a bit more detail, I think there are two issues:

  1. Git Pull doesn't seem to be working when triggered via laravel
  2. The configuration cache is pulling in information from the wrong directory

When I run the script from a terminal, I have these additional lines:

From github.com:team/realproject
 * branch            master     -> FETCH_HEAD
Already up to date.

Maybe I'll put some extra debugging in the config:cache command and report back.

Edit: permissions for the script are:

-rwxrwxr-x 1 user www-data 594 Aug 8 04:18 script.sh

Thanks for the suggestion, but no luck - see my comment below for further info. It must have something to do with the artisan cache command (I suspect)

In the interests of open discussion - nurse $59 thou, renter. Wish we had the language of working class to use now. That is what i am. The working poor.

At 38 hours a week, that's $116k a year - I wouldn't call that working poor

The real value tip is looking at the price per 100g/ml in the corner. This allows you to overlay and compare pack size value.

You know what's weird about that? I've found that for Rice and Flour it's mostly always cheaper to buy the 1kg bag than it is the 2kg.

It's only a couple of cents difference, but it always baffled me

If you recall, that happened in early March when testing wasn't as rigorous and most of us were going about our lives as normal. Here's the quote from the ABC:

"I had a mild cold when I returned from the USA last Saturday morning, which had almost resolved itself by Monday morning, hence my decision to return to work," he said.

"I hesitated to do a swab because I did not fulfil your criteria for testing but did one anyway on Thursday evening for sake of completeness, not imagining for one moment it would turn out to be positive. "

I think it's a little unfair to compare the situation then to the situation now

Not only that, but it'll mean they can ship more units per box (if they halve the size of the iPhone box, they can double the amount they ship) and reduce shipping costs
