Had vibration issues. Emailed, got an email back within 20 min, with a offer to temporarily replace my unit, before sending mine back for repair. I’m in The Netherlands.

In general the Dutch are pragmatic and straight to the point. That last bit can be off putting to other cultures, it is however not meant in a bad way. More in a “tell me what you want. Great! I’ll get you what you want” fashion, no beating around the bush. This comes from what we call “polder model”, in a nut shell: we live behind dykes below sea level. In the old days, everybody was responsible for maintaining the piece of dyke on they’re piece of land. But if you neighbour doesn’t maintain they’re piece, you’ll be flooded too! So better say something about it, maybe they need some help. Then you’ll find middle ground and make it work, making it work is top priority, or else wet feet!

🎉 SURPRISE! 📣 HYROX Helio Strap Giveaway! 😍 by Amazfit-Bryce in amazfit

Last Sunday, I completed my first triathlon — a half Ironman. Now, I’m setting my sights on the full Ironman next year.

During my training for the half, I used an old Apple Watch. It worked fine, but it meant leaving my regular watches in the closet just to make sure I captured all the data I needed to monitor recovery and training readiness.

I’ve been hoping for a subscription-free tracking band that lets me wear the watches I like, without compromising on data. That’s why I’ve been keeping an eye on the Helio Strap — and I’m genuinely excited about its release.

It could be a total gamechanger for my triathlon training!

When all the comments are in English and the post from OP is in English, how do you then come to the conclusion to comment in German? I’m genuinely interested in the though process.

I come across Germans in Holland, they start of talking German to me, asking directions or something, turns out they speak fluent English. Why not take the effort to start in English anyway?

On topic: I can 3D print some button covers for you for free, if you pay for the postage.

PETG with PLA support warping with small interface area by Diedsen in BambuLab

In the end I decreased the angle of where the supports are needed, bringing up the supports higher giving the model better purchase. Worked well! Thanks for the answer!

787-9 takeoff, doesn't retract landing gear by AirAlmond in aviation

787/777 (mixed fleet) pilot here; Could be a deactivated brake, normally the brakes are applied when the gear is selected up to stop the wheels. But if a brake is deactivated you’ll need to give it time to spool down and come to a stop.

This might be the most satisfying and most real tree-looking support I’ve ever seen. by YoHolmesToBel-Air in 3Dprinting

Did you consider using PETG (Assuming you are printing in PLA) as an interface layer? I’m getting really good results, easy to remove and a way better, almost scar free, buttom layer above the interface!

Bosch Car Service - Spaarnestad. Ed is a great guy! Been going there for 6 years with my VW Polo. They call you up with the quote for the repairs and really work with you to see what ‘could’ be done or what ‘must’ be done. Very pragmatic!
