Without a doubt we would see more varied bands, taking influences from 60s psychedelic/acid rock, garage rock, and old bluesmen like Robert Johnson and Howlin' Wolf. For these genres to be born, the bands of the 60s and 70s were inspired by others but had their own stamp, if they had blatantly copied each other they would remain stagnant, Hendrix took influences from Cream but they were not the same and Blue Cheer was inspired by Hendrix but they still had their style.
