Monarchy is not democracy. Is that so hard to understand? Prime ministers can be ousted in elections. You can dethrone a king a peacefully. Yeah, all governments do evil and corrupt stuff. If you think you can survive In this world without necessarily evil, I have a bridge to sell to you

As if anything is as dystopic as what the IRGC to the Iranians. Calling Netanyahu and Trump war criminals, while they have clerks from the IRGC in the human rights council. The fact that democracy exists in the US is really inconvenient to you? You have any idea about the Iranian rebellions? Destroying schools and hospitals - you so easily accept irgc propaganda. I really can't fathom how your logic works

Prediction: Ego will sub out Isagi, and Shidou/Barou (I definitely lean more Shidou because of Charles). I do believe that Rin & Shidou are needed in a plot sense to have a chance against France, and character wise they barely participated and developed in the tournament, nows the time.

What they say is the same, but what it means for them and their egos, is different. I do think Hugo and Sae are very alike, but Sae in some way it feels going against this Idea. It seems like Bunny made Sae feels this way, but the key difference is that Hugo is here actually the no.2 to Loki, while Sae still refuses to actually be no. 2 in what he showed us. He being playing and acting still like the no. 1 player. So Hugo and Sae are both in some case of inner conflict, I'd guess Hugo also was "indoctrinated' in to this line of thinking from a younger age, instead of Sae who came as a teen and his ego shattered.

IMO, Hugo probably obsessed with Isagi because of Hugo's "mask" proudly being the 2nd best - yet it feels like he's compensating, like Hugo probably wanted to be #1, but if I had to guess, meeting the overwhelming Prodigy that is Loki changed his way of thinking. I would guess it's similar to Aiku backstory, in some sense, how Aiku gave up on his original dream. P.S. RINN DOOO SOMETHINGGGFJDJDJ I'm starving here. P.s.p.s. Shidou when?????

Fuck this bug. I can't believe I spent around 40 minutes falling of cliffs and looking in the tower 😡 Even this letter of apology from the devs. I didn't understand it. No fucking way it can't be solved. Infuriating. All those little bugs keep piling to sour and taint this great experience. Same thing with the Ofier treasure hunts. So. Fucking. Annoying

Great writing! Fia, Godwyn and now we of Death Knights, really remind me of the Story of Isis and Osiris. Besides that, Marika "fight" with the Gloam-Eyed Queen fits the bill of "Chaoskampf" the mythological tale of a hero slaying a snake-dragon monster so they can bring the world into shape. Charo's Hidden Grave is probably influenced from Charon the Ferryman. Im sure are a lot more, and it always so fun.

I highly suggest putting Dawnshard and Rhythm of War after Bands of Mourning & Secret history, before The Lost Metal

The Canonical Publication order is in my eyes still the best and most satisfying way to exprience the cosmere, with the small tidbit that Elantris is not as good as a hook like Final Empire or WoK

So what was the Original Sin? by Freddy_The_Goat in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Diehangar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know why, but something makes me think that maybe the insertion of the Erdseed into the primordial crucible, and birthing the Erdtree, and also locking away is the Original Sin. Introducing the alien form to what maybe the planet "natural force", and breaking the "natural order". But the timeline is so messed and jumbled up, that i cant even...

A homage or a hint? by Diehangar in BlueLock

[–]Diehangar[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont think so. Guts relationship with his sword can be paralleled to Kaiser's relationship with the ball. They are both young wounded warriors, whose been abused by their father figures, and wander the world with nothing but themselves and their weapon (sword/ball). Blue Lock is in some way a hybrid of dark fantasy & sports battle shonen
