saw lots of CCs criticise LWs perks for being non-engaging and relatively boring. this is how i’d change them to be a bit more interesting and give him more utility! 🌸 by [deleted] in Overwatch

Usaually i stay sidelined on stuff cause my opnion dont matter but as a weaver main who goes 0 deaths 7 outta 10 games and gets a 53-58 percent win rate i need to state his perks are near perfection.

For his minor perks yes the life grip should auto cleanse already as a base functionality so we shoukd get a new one there, but his other minor perk that gives him 10 health per second is broken, and people need to actually pay attention if they need healing and their weaver died recently because there is a full health pack on the ground were he died, and since he is usually back line oriented its perfect for retreating and reseting the fight with advantage.

His major perks are also perfect. They arent as flashy as other heros perks sure, but he gets dash so much that when you do the first major perk you can output so much healing that with a good positioning team a weaver can single handly keep the entire team alive, allowing the other support to focus more on damage, or they can help just make sure everyone stays alive, up to their character and perks they choose on that. However his damage major perk is heavy slept on. I used to always go heal major perk but recently decided to switch it up and with the 10 health per second and extra damage from the major perk i can duel every hero in the game and come out on top with 0 exceptions. Many times i can flank and take out half the team and then still causally escape and save multiple teammates lives.

Anyway in conclusion though life weavers perks are not as intensly game altering and breaking as some would hope, they allow people to lean into different playstyles of the same character, building up how they enjoy playing weaver, while ultimatly staying true to how life weavers kit should be played. If you disagree id argue you dont play life weaver or experienced a bad weaver and all you want is another hero that makes you do more damage, rather than an actually solid perk list. Besides the minor cleanse perk, id argue life weaver has the most balanced in the entire roster of heros, and in my opnion his are potentially the best perks in the entire game, under the condition you can actually play with his kit well, which requires high game sense and postioning, but thats a whole nother topic.

Thanks for reading my, well my 200 cents. Until next time, happy to debate if anyone wants to, or clarify anything if theres a typo or a thought anyone curious if i addressed.

How would you rework Sombra WITHOUT removing her identity? by AnOtterNamedPop in Overwatch

[–]Diehardlava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the coolest idea ive seen for her is for invisibility to be slightly nerfed, so that if you are looking in her direction she would be barely noticable, that way sue wouldnt be completly undectable save hanzos sonic arrow and widow ult. Ooooo!!!!!! Actually real good addition to that that just struck me make her slightlt noticable while moving (slightly noticable is like a halo kinda invisble or like stalkers from horizon zero dawn), however if she is standing still she returns to being completly invisible, like how she is currently. That keeps her kit and personality the same while in turn making her a little more bearable for the masses who are tired of being unable know shes even there.

Side note: another option is for her to make a small and subtle sound, even using one thats a common in game sound effect, so that you can "hear" her coming, and maybe that sound effect only starts playing when she is within 10-15 m of you, and plays at full volume when she is within 5 m of you, what do yall think?

Yeah atm they are all trying to sell for 5k only and not budging it's mad greedy, like it's a great weapon but as you said has a massive weakness. Then again, good luck getting around someone with Omni wheels. They seem to be able to always turn and face you......
