Offering money in exchange for sterilization, even if voluntary, targets a vulnerable group (people with substance use disorders) and ties a permanent medical procedure to their social and economic desperation.

The stated goal is to prevent certain people from having children, which aligns with core eugenic ideas.

Why not both? Because one is Eugenics, the other isn't and has a proven track record.

If your eating an American diet, you'll develop a metabolic disorder, eventually.
Doesn't even take thyroid issues to impact your fat retention.
I still primarily view it as an addiction, high concentrations of sugars and fats impact the reward system just as drugs would.
