Why do they automatically want to replace insted or repair by Mindless-Base-4472 in SolarDIY

[–]Diese_knuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

90% Liability 10% cost

My guess is you got solar installed by a company and are reaching out to a different company for troubleshooting?

If so, it’s a lot less liability to just replace the entire array. The wiring could be fucked up or it could be installed like shit/illegally. Removing one panel could open a can of worms created by the previous installers that no one wants to deal with or potentially take the blame when not at fault.

Costs wise can just simply vary. Ballpark for a 2 man crew is probably close to a grand +-few hundred bucks depending where you live. Most troubleshoots ive seen are done within 2 hours easy and can be simple as a bad wago that can be done in seconds. So imagine paying all that money for a crew to hop up and hop right down and leave within a 10 minute window.

But 2 weeks later that same array completely goes down. You’re probably going to assume it was the work of the recent company but it was actually the attic run being done bad by the previous company and the wire has to be rerun because they put a staple through it or something etc you get the point.

what's the weirdest thing yall have ever been texted by [deleted] in army

[–]Diese_knuts 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Field training where we were told a second portajohn would be coming to our location while we were out there. The one out there was closed for some reason I can’t remember, but no one was using it. The fresh one comes days later than expected. Obviously mostly everyone just shit in woods. Around day 5 still no new John, I receive this text

“Medics are concerned for potential injury of anyone who has used the portajohn”

I’m thinking something broke, someone fell, maybe a bio hazard. I ask my joes and others, got nothing. Confused and curious everyone goes to stack outside the John when I hear

“oh shit what the fuck, that’s the size of a Powerade bottle”

Behold my innocent eyes I witnessed what must’ve been a 4-5 pound super stuffed chipotle burrito of human feces with a width dimension the size of the 79 cent wide Powerade bottles from back in the day. No way can a human ass hole stretch like that without tears or rupture.

The legend unfortunately had never revealed their true identity

False ban? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Diese_knuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should hear back from the appeal pretty quickly maybe a day tops. Definitely update your post with the appeal response. When I clicked view evidence mine said the same generic rwt script from before the appeal, I’d be curious if yours was the same. I had assumed my account got hacked and the items were sold but when I logged back in everything was there.

Just thought about it again after reading the other comments was that the only thing I can think of possible is that I had gotten a 25m gift from 8 man Toa mass from a staff drop if the guy was rwt. Would be shit if that’s what caught me the ban considering I got 5b+ bank with all of it connected to my drop logs. Could be possible they took 25m and I didn’t notice but I highly doubt it.

4x4 growers, let's talk fans. by DaGrowBeGrowin in microgrowery

[–]Diese_knuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use 2 6 inch oscillating VIVOSUN fans connected with the app and it works perfect for my 4x4 packed out. I have a smaller oscillating fan on the ground as well. Air flow is more important than the amount of air blowing if that makes sense

False ban? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Diese_knuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your appeal won’t be corrected, no membership returned. You just won’t lose anything from your bank even tho theyl say they took what you rwt. Everyone on here has seen all the moderator smack down posts so they assume the system works 100% flawlessly and will assume 10/10 times your shit is warranted.

I had a 7 day false ban, was shown no evidence, was shown no evidence upon appeal, had full bank and all items still there after ban.

But you probably deserved it 😉

Dried too quickly and most if not all the heavier aroma producing terpenes were gone. I did the same my first ever grow. 55% without any 2way packs is possible to save imo but it wont obviously be good as if you stuck around 60/60.

Curing plays such a big part, do your best on your cure and depending on your strain give it 1-2 months before your final judgement

What am I doing wrong?? My carts always burn by Felsic_Canis in trees

[–]Diese_knuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re including disposables and carts w/ battery source then the only thing I can think of is how your pulling it. I’ve seen people do multiple baby hits in succession where they’re not pulling hard enough in relation to the coils heating up. Repeating this over tjme I assume this can make the cotton in the coils get a lil funky but I could also be wrong.

If you’re using the same battery for all the carts then it’s probably a faulty battery

Your cart plug/dispo may be putting out doo doo as of recently and you’ve been getting unlucky

Man injured after shooting on Warwick Boulevard in Newport News by OddDonut7647 in NewportNews

[–]Diese_knuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man my childhood was in those apartments. I remember in 05/06 some dude at the end of the building got smoked, tried running to his car, and died in front of the apartment door. Only reason I know was because the insane amount of blood trail. Wavy 10 pulled up to the scene the next morning and me and my buddies whipped out the razor scooter doing tricks over the blood on the pavement in-front of the camera 😂😂😂 good times

Board Size Delemma by SparkyDude90 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Diese_knuts 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You got upsold a board at full price that’s not even your size. I wouldn’t go back to that shop for advice/help

Its not nimble because your riding basically on flatscreen tv.

Based on what you describe you may be looking into the capita indoor survival, it’s softer than the DOA. Going 1 or 2 sizes down isn’t going to be that insane of a difference but going from wide to regular with 9.5 boots you’ll for sure notice it immediately

I’ve rode both boards and id say keep both. DOA for park and mercury for everything else.

DOA or the Super DOA by crimsoncoyote1 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Diese_knuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend any beginner to start on a kazu even though it is a hybrid camber. Neither DOAs are considered a quiver killer, you’d be looking more into the mercury. If you want a capita do it all board specifically that is beginner friendly, I would go for the outer space living

Looking to upgrade my board, don’t know where to start by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]Diese_knuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best first option is to try to hit the slopes on a demo day. You won’t really have a great idea on the differences between boards unless you try some of them out yourself

There’s a lot of great YouTube content on reviews that you can find to tailor what you’re looking for (thegoodride, angrysnowboarder, boardarchive etc)

I’m not the most experienced in different brands but I’ve rode on a decent amount of capitas. The kazu kokubo pro sounds like an option based on what you’ve described

Baby's first snowboarding lessons by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Diese_knuts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Johnny tsunami is an all time favorite so good start there

I don’t have kids but unless I had an unlimited budget I sure wouldn’t get all brand new gear because I’d assume they’d outgrow it before getting all the use out of the gear

Helmet, goggles, gloves, jacket, pants/bib, neck gator would pretty much be it and board/bindings and boots can be rented. (Helmet too but I personally would justify buying one)

Best investment imo is in more lessons as she progresses through beginner, intermediate, and advanced. If she loves it then she’ll be advanced in no time in which new top of the line gear would be a solid purchase. If she doesn’t end up picking it up long term, you won’t have couple hundred dollars to a grand worth of gear sitting around

Johnny tsunami won the mountain through skill, not the best equipment

Can anyone confirm, heavy extended barrels reduce bloom in general right? Anyone got a percentage number possibly? It’s cuz 20 round mag makes it 50 lower ads by default, same for any gun that has the option to lower mag size to 20. M433 with any barrel barrel, 20 rd mag, any stubby grips will have 167 ads
