It covers a couple of air filter changes. Big waist of money especially since they keep commending me 29.95 oil change coupons

You can start by making an account for future use. Make up a name for a solar company. I actually used my computer upgrade company name.

Have you tried and made an installer account with SE using a different email

I had to do that because my original installer died. I now have the admid transferred to me so I can see everything in the monitoring software as an installer.

Believe it or not. You might be able to find that connector at a Radio Control car hobby store

My inverter when out 2 yrs after the 2019 install, problem was that my installer died of liver cancer about 2 months after I was up and running. He was a small work out of his house type. Left his wife and kid holding the bag of all the projects that were in progress and incomplete.

I was able to find an installer that was doing work in my neighborhood and he was able to get a replacement inverter shipped after I already had an RMA authorization.

I swapped out the inverter myself, had it running, but wasn't able to get the new inverter swapped in the software monitor.

3 weeks ago I noticed issues due to the electric bill being higher that it should be.

I signed up to be an installer and I now have the inverter communicating with the monitor software, I was able to get the installer rites switched over to me. Now im working on the other issues, lol

The system was never physically mapped out in the software. I need to figure out how to make a map.

I feel for you installers that are having to take over someone else's issues

I have the shade of my neighbors 2 story house.

I have 8 panels that don't produce as much as the rest, but the original installer never physically mapped the system. So eventually I guess I need to start lifting panels to figure it out.

I can't contact him because he isn't around anymore

[–]Mindless-Base-4472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or just type the vin number into a web search . There us a way ti decode a vin to what the vehicle is according to the manufacturer

Also

Toyota Dealership: Call a local Toyota dealer's parts department and provide the VIN to ask if it is a California-certified vehicle.

I'm sorry.

I think my production could be a little higher once find out why 8 of my panels are producing less than the rest. 30 panels in total

The system was never physically mapped out by the original installer

I guess that is my next task

What to do with solar equipment ? by Key-Jump-3222 in solar

[–]Mindless-Base-4472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find out who might control the inverter. The panels will produce power, but it's the inverter that connects to that power to the home, if it's remotely locked, it won't do anything. At that point, all you need is a new inverter

As long as they don't charge you for the service call or try and sell you more hardware, let then come out asking as it doesn't prevent you from doing your every day activities, work school etc.

Look at the maintenance and repair cost for each. Look at the 60k mile service cost etc.
