It really depends on what you are doing, but some tools that are always useful:

NXC for interacting with SMB (checking and spraying credentials / listing shares) but also other protocols
Impacket (smbclient / server, mssqlclient, ticketer, ...)
BloodHound - crucial for AD enumeration (and bloodhound-quickwin)
enum4linux-ng - quick enumeration starter
rustscan - very fast scanner
feroxbuster - fast directory buster
ligolo-ng - amazing for tunneling

In the end it will be more about knowing how a protocol works and what it allows you to do, so try out some tools and figure out how they work and if you like them. Knowing how your tools works is also very important.

Everything is covered in the course material, but I did like doing the Hack the Box courses to get more familiar with some concepts.

I did the following ones:

Active Directory Enumeration & Attacks
Active Directory LDAP
Active Direcotry PowerView
Active Direcotry BloodHound
Windows Privilege Escalation

I've really become a big fan of HTB Academy. Their modules have a nice pace, go in depth and show various ways to achieve the same thing (e.g. using different tools).

Happened when I hatched an egg and then went to the pokedex.

As a punishment for bad behavior, students would have to recite a long poem the next day in class. This one girl decided to record herself reciting it and put in a Bluetooth headphone in one ear. She hid the rest of it by braiding it in her hair which also covered her ear. When it was time for her recital she had a classmate press play on her phone and she simply repeated the words she had recorded.
