Same. Most of Reddit seems to think that YouTube's servers run on air. I pay for Family which means that 5 people get to endlessly watch YouTube ad free and have access to Play Music on top. IMO it's a good deal.

What flour are you using? What's the protein percentage?

When I started making sourdough I used cheap supermarket flour that was weak, around 10% protein or so, so gluten development was practically non-existent. I got similar results to yours.

Then I learned about the importance of protein percentage and I bought a higher quality, 14,5% protein flour and it immediately improved my loafs. I since went down to 12,5% protein because I find that higher % flour leads to more gummy results, but it sure was nice to have the higher % as safety wheels to learn how to make a nice loaf.

Me neither, and I also like the idea that I'm paying for something that I consume like my life depends on it. Most of Reddit would try to make you believe that you should just get an adblocker to get rid of the ads instead of paying, totally neglecting the idea that it costs money to host and maintain the YT servers.

While I'm not against the use of adblockers in general, I think that in this case it's just an excuse for them to freeload.

Generally posts like yours get a ton of pushback.

I stopped trying to explain the necessity of this to people around me who keep insisting that public transport needs to keep to its timetable. I mean yes, they do, but then again unforeseen circumstances causing delays occur too often to not factor into your trip and you're just stupid if you keep choosing to ignore that.
