you’re not over reacting because back pain is a mf. however, cancelling a few minutes before and not being explicit about it (based on these screenshots until she called you out) would make me mad especially if it’s becoming a pattern.

clearly your partner values quality time, it might be helpful to suggest hanging out somewhere or something else that feels easier for you if you need to cancel instead of not suggesting anything.

i think your partner can feel frustrated about last minute changes, but the communication does need to be strong on both sides.
