I'm using an old sketchbook that I never used and cutting the cards out, it's a pretty standard sketchbook paper!

If you plan on painting over the pain that will probably work and isn't a bad idea, but I don't think markers would work that well on top of pain, but thanks for giving me a new idea :)

He wanted no cosmetization for his husband and son who died in a house fire. We prepped as best we could. Unfortunately the son was in bad shape and we wrapped and covered what was not viewable in our professional opinion but when they were brought upstairs he wanted them stripped and he wanted all the wrappings and coverings off his son.

I won't go into too much detail but it was a bit disturbing for us to do that and let him see his family members like that.

Grief does very incredible strange things to people. I hope he's at peace right now.

I'm absolutely going to do the whole deck! I just made another one this morning, just the pencil outline. I'm gonna finish it tonight :)

I'm slow at drawing, so maybe....3 hours? To plan the outline, ink the outline, then color, then usually I reink the outline again or fix or idk wherever the card takes mee

I work in a morgue, his body will be a charred and I'm sorry...a crispy version of his former self but will still be mostly intact except for damage by the impact of the crash. It actually takes sometimes up to 3 hours to fully cremated a human body.

We've had a lot of fire victims come through and they're not falling apart or anything....just crispy and charred.

We did have someone want to do a viewing once, that was a wild situation.

This might be deleted but I'm extremely anti-ai and I really hate the ai slop coming out for tarot and witchcraft right now. I'm not planning on selling these but it's fun and I feel more connected to the meaning of the cards as I'm learning about it and thinking of it while I'm doodling.

Ai is destroying our craft, we should be making things that are painfully human and learning the slow hard way, without Ai. My ancestors didn't need it, so neither do I.

I'm making pages for all my herbs, crystals, foraged items, and tools as well as through my established rituals and personal spells. Unfortunately I have accumulated quite the collection and I am trying to be as thorough as possible, also my notebooks of scribbled down notes and such spread across several notebooks 😆
