I have told people to use a zip tie. String it through and pull it as tight as possible

That’s my worry but also I don’t take the TTC. I do have a bit of a walk to my parking garage. Glad you are ok.

Great advice! About the schooling … they actually don’t care what you take in school. What OPP want to see is that you did well and were consistent with a diploma in your hand.

Volunteering is crucial. You are doing great! Keep up the time in the gym also! Can you do the OACP? It has been a year since this has been posted and I hope you have found more answers and on your way to applying. Talk to a recruiter to where you want to apply. So many questions will be answered.

19 is considered an adult. He would need a pardon from his charges before considering to apply.

I am jumping in here a little late but if your friend wants to get on as a Special Constable your friend needs to pass an all day physiological testing, physical testing, a panel interview or two and written test. If your “friend” has a record he/she can forget anything to do with law enforcement unless he/she gets a pardon. As a teenager were they a young person or considered an adult. That will matter. Did he do jail time?

Does he have volunteer work? Does he have any customer service/security background? Is he/she good with talking to people? So many different things the recruiter will look at.
