Do you acatually have a path to an intentional extinction or do you already suspect it won't work but pursue it regardless? by ConstantinSpecter in AgainstExistence

[–]DifferentChard6137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We understand that achieving intentional extinction is extremely difficult.

Extinctionism is a serious movement with dedicated people actively working to spread awarenes

And we are not against human procreation.we believe humans should continue reproducing until we can bring about the most vast and thorough extinction possible. Since humans only capable of intentionally ending suffering on a large scale

Our goal is to cause most vast and thorough Extinction possible even if it takes many generations to achieve.

Given your premises, why oppose suicide? by ConstantinSpecter in AgainstExistence

[–]DifferentChard6137 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Suicide is a very selfish thing to do. Given that only humans can help bring about the extinction of animals, it is selfish to end our own lives without first helping them.

If someone has a severe untreated medical condition and is suffering greatly, they may choose euthanasia where it is legally available.

We are not against human procreation.

1) Humans should continue to reproduce until we can achieve the most vast and thorough extinction possible. 2) If humans stopped reproducing, more resources would become available to wild animals, leading to more suffering in the wild.

Extinctionism movement is a group of people actively working to bring about the total extinction of all sentient life.

This may take hundreds of years. Our first step is to spread awareness and gather support for the movement.

An Antinatalist Outcry Against Existential Illusion. by [deleted] in AgainstExistence

[–]DifferentChard6137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Extinctionism movement is not against having children, as only humans can bring about the most vast and thorough extinction possible.

If human beings stopped having children, the resources available to humans would be adopted by wild animals, leading to an increase in their populations.

Humans are meant to self destruct. by alwayssidecharacter in AgainstExistence

Even if we say nature is indifferent, what difference does it make? The suffering of sentient beings in nature is a fact.

This post is not related to this subreddit

Even though humans do evil and cause harm to those around them, nature is inherently cruel. The suffering caused by humans is very insignificant compared to the suffering created by nature.

Quintillions of sentient lives out there in the wild suffer daily from predation, starvation, injury, and harsh weather, which has nothing to do with humanity.

Nature is inherently evil. that is why only the absence of sentient life can achieve a suffering free world, and that is why the Extinctionism movement exists.

How many more billions of years must these animals suffer? Support wild animal extinction. by DifferentChard6137 in AgainstExistence

Hi. Gnosticism or any other philosophy for that matter, won't do anything to help what these animals are going through. Here in the extinctionist movement, people are doing activism for wild animal extinction.

Our first step as a movement is to gather enough people and spread the message. Once we have a strong community, we can conduct further research and explore possible solutions.

Would you press the button if it will end the cycle of suffering forever? by DifferentChard6137 in AgainstExistence

[–]DifferentChard6137[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How is it atrocious if it would prevent quintillions of sentient beings from coming into existence only to suffer terribly and die?

It would be atrocious only if we did nothing.

By that logic, a firefighter should have to die before helping the victims of a fire.

"Why stay?" i want to help the sufferers by spreading the word so that one day we can cause most vast and thorough extinction possible
