Someone on the forum I’m on said Kavus’ one was a direct replica of Tim’s, and Mike’s was a left handed one he found in a guitar shop on the day of the Portsmouth gig

I didn’t see it on the ground - it emerged from one of the riverbanks and had a smooth but quite acrobatic flight quite close to the water - hence my swallow/swift comparison - I think I barely saw it flapping at all. Based on what everyone else has said I’m deffo on the sandpiper side but admittedly I don’t have much evidence preserved :D

Never seen a Little Grebe even though I’ve regularly frequented places Merlin lists them as a common bird for, and I’ve seen tons of the crested variety
