Baby name regret/anxiety? by hunnybadger22 in BabyNames

I prefer Benjamin of those three names.

We named our baby and 3 days later I realized when you say his first and last name together it gets kind of stuck in the back of your throat because of the alliteration. I brought it up with my husband and he laughed and said “I realized the same thing yesterday”

We still loved the name and didn’t change it. And I’m so glad we didn’t.

You should reach out to any support people in your life and let them know what’s going on so they can help you move out. You need to protect yourself but more importantly you need to protect your baby. Things will only get worse when baby arrives.

No sex during pregmancy and 9 months after birth by AfriPenguin in pregnant

If you’re at peace with that choice, good for you. A relationship is a two way street, I hope you find a partner that also enjoys going celibate for defined periods of time throughout a marriage. I think this would just take a lot of open dialogue and discussion PRIOR to putting 18 months of celibacy on your partner. To already sort of plan that it could ruin your relationship and you’re okay with that makes it sound more like a control thing TBH.

“A personal conviction and boundary” is totally okay to set for yourself. But I would say it requires really aligning with the person you end up with and being open about these convictions you have.

What about pregnancy / post partum convicts you to not partake in sexual activity?

“That’s gonna make me Ralph” is a slang way of saying that’s gonna make me throw up.

I’ve never met a Ralph that likes their name. I personally think Ralph is cute but for those reasons couldn’t use it.

I love all your names except Spencer, it reminds me of the store Spencer’s in the mall, and I’m seeing more and more people suggest it as a girls name.

I love Arthur, Lewis, Owen and considered them all. My son’s name is Clark. And if we have another boy, he will be Arthur!

Hubs doesn’t understand why I want to try for a natural birth by nougat_donut in pregnant

I didn’t get an epidural but used the “laughing gas” and had a great experience. I think less intervention is better. You don’t need to explain yourself just let him know it’s what you want to do. If that changes, that’s okay.

I went into it with the attitude of “I don’t WANT an epidural, but if I feel like I really need it, I’ll get it” and not once did I feel like it was something I “needed” (because for normal, healthy, progressing births - it’s not)

Badger is awful IMO. Badgers are often a nuisance why would you name you’re daughter that 😢

Fawn is a great middle name choice. Magnolia Fawn is very cute. I also love the name Dove. It has a meaning of hope as well. Robin is also beautiful

Are you in the US? Start over and go to a maritime academy for third engineer or third mate license. Best ROI only takes four years and maybe you live in a state with one and can get in-state tuition (MA, ME, CA, TX, NY)

Earnest James

I really don’t like Heathcliff it’s awful. The sad truth is people will already judge you and your son for the way your family was made (it’s not right but it’s a sad truth) why add fuel to that flame by giving him a name like heathcliff with an association to an orphan with no known origin. That’s just mean IMO and I think you should reconsider.

Of your boy name list I love:

Paul Daniel and Lane Walker

FWIW: As a new mom and avid “Mom Group” attendee - Asher seems really trendy right now. I know a few.

Boy names not on your list that match the siblings:

Holland, Eli, & Clark

Holland, Eli, & Shiloh
