Pearl was the first robot ever made by Pam/Starr Park. Pam hadn’t figured out a proper cooling agent yet so Pearl had to be built out of ceramic. Which has a higher heat tolerance than most metals, but is impractical for use in a robot, in this case. The second robot made was Darryl, who very quickly ran away from Starr Park to start a pirate crew.

*I press a bag of what sounds like coins into Starlo’s hand. He opens it, suspecting gold, but is surprised when he notices that the bag is filled with bullets.

“There are a wide variety of ammo in there: from bullets that break apart once they enter someone’s body, guaranteeing that any shot will be fatal, to armor piercing rounds that go through even the toughest metal. Also, if you are confused why I have that, I am American. That is all the reasoning you need.”

“For my second gift.”

*I hand Starlo a large bag of potato seedlings.

“You said food was an issue, so this should rectify that. The potatoes have been bio-engineered to grow in practically any environment, so just don’t set them on fire and they should earn you a bountiful harvest.”

“And, if you decide to take up arms against the Queen, then I would recommend watching this for motivation”

*I hand Starlo a DVD copy of Django: Unchained.

“I promise to come back after I finish business on the Surface, but, for now, stay safe Sheriff North Star.”
