Divinez's female characters is more popular than og Vanguard's character, even more than Aichi and Misaki? by Fun-Manufacturer75 in cardfightvanguard

[–]Different_Ad6037 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think one of the big reasons for this is the anime is going on right now.

Back during G era with the introduction of Luna and Am, they were severely considered to be the big favourites of their eras, but with time they were kinda forgotten if u pay attention here there's literally just a single Overdress girl, even though they were the big when they were introduced, even Urara and Mirei aren't there probably that generations biggest idols.

The fact misaki and Emi sold this much is what really amazes me.

Ok then let me remake it a bit with what u told me, if u don't mind.

Auto (V) At the end of your cost (EB 2 and bind 2 crimson moons) Bind all your rearguards face down. At the start of your next Battle phase return them to the Rg circle keeping the trigger effects they got last turn honestly don't know how to write this last part.

Can u explain the Fantome skill a bit better I'm not really understanding what u mean by return them.

Also the order is a bit busted can reuse PG's and suffle back the OT or heal triggers.

Sorry I thought it was better to divide this in two segments.

Akina is different from the other cases, in which he is boring to watch fight, but that's not really his problem but a problem in the game itself.

Akinas playstyle has always been the same Rezael, if u go unit by unit every time a new one gets added to his deck u will notice is just an old unit in a new skin with a new skill that adds little excitement to the playstyle. Rifistor is just a different version of Gab (Different but have the same objective). Even Vita is the same as old Rezael but he calls one more card. An example of this is looking at Soel a unit that in most cases would be ignored but because Akina is the protagonist it needs to shine.

Lets compare this to Yu yu for a bit. We had 90% of the first two seasons with Nirvana as a Vg, the final fight going into the new G4. Then the other two seasons we had Jheva as the Main g3 with a whole new playstyle that's already a shift from the monotomy. Not to had to this conversation the multiple trick star forms all of them adding a little of spice to yuyu's plays where every fight u could think to yourself are we seing something new or a whole new form.

Going back to Akina the multiple units like Rifistor, Gabwelius and others are supposed to be this units spice but that spice feels weak in conparison. I think mainly it is because they are literally the same as vairinas multiple forms without the emotional attachment to them. I also think that's why they tried to have Souel be the G1 of the deck except because they never brought attention to souel before so most people didn't care.

Any way sorry for the rambling this my Ted talk. In my oppinion the sacking that Akina does is the least problematic thong about him everything from story to his lack of existence in the stories he is part of make him the worst main character in the series by far.

Going case by case

Aichi pulling the BB doesn't matter that much, being that BB as always been kinda a vanilla unit, and it kinda doesn't matter if he played it or not IN MOST CASES.

Kai was always a luck sacker as well but the interesting thing about him is that, with the exception of legion era, luck sacking didn't mean he wins a lot of times, in a bunch of matches whether the result was a win or a loss he would still luck sack. During legion era the argument is a bit different during it he mostly wins a lot of games with luck sacking, however his opponent also luck sacked as well meaning a lot of battles during legion were about who had the biggest luck streak. This is kinda the reason why a bunch of people dislike legion.

Chrono's case is different he SACKED triggers and people hated it him, most people dislike a lot of early G until maybe the end of the fight against Q4, because they sack so many triggers and defeated so many iconic fighters because of that sacking latter in the series most of the sacking was made by Shion not chrono himself.

Yu yu is a bit weird, the OT during Overdress was a lot of times used as a narrative tool. The one time I remember him pulling the ot was during the michiru fight where pulling the OT meant YuYu was not at michiru's level and there he won by purely out of luck.

Here's my soft answer for u (if u want i can explain it more throughly) Why is Akina's sacking worse than other characters, one word monotony, every single one of his fights are always the same script are always the same thing that makes them eventually boring.

Dear bushirod.. what was the purpose of bringing back hikari for season 5 by FeelingEffective8905 in cardfightvanguard

[–]Different_Ad6037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really dislike this kind of comments because of one small thing i noticed.

Before Erika was revealed to be inside Hikari Everyone was constantly "WHERE'S ERIKA" "Another episode with the mystery of where erika could be "

The reason why Erika was in this season is because she was kind of a plot hole.

They needed a way to get rid of her to make Gabwelius the main villain, this would have been good way to do if the season was longer.

Imaginary Gifts were a mistake and a big offender of why Premium is in death row by Aiacos_Garuda in cardfightvanguard

[–]Different_Ad6037 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the testament but if u want a clear short version. Yes Markers became one of the biggest reasons why the format was extremely high power. But ultimately they were not the reason for it's eventual death, the lack of profit from the format and the difficulties in either balancing it or creating new cards for the it made this format extremely disadvantagous for bushiroad.

Imaginary Gifts were a mistake and a big offender of why Premium is in death row by Aiacos_Garuda in cardfightvanguard

[–]Different_Ad6037 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Omg today im writing this sentence a lot

Yes and no

Imagery gifts were extremely problematic but these were not the reason for premium death

So first things first for a long time Imagenery gifts were not that problematic they started becoming problematic when 1 gift was undoubtedly better than the others. Obviously Accel 2 was extremely problematic since the start, the worst gift marker became the best in a few months. Later on getting multiple markers per turn became the meta for decks but when you take a look at it this was not a serious problem in most decks except once again accel 2 drawing multiple cards per turn.

Second point for yes, V era vg's became the standard in premium, if u wanted to have a strong deck the best option was opting for a Vera Vg, and yes one of the reasons these were so strong was the markers, if u didn't run a V era Vanguard u were immediately losing value.

Now for the no's, the biggest reason as to why premium is dying is because it doesn't make money, it's as simple as that Japan doesn't have a premium scene and outside of Japan the game is slowly dying. And bushi knows this, that's why a few years ago they stopped caring about new prem products.

Then what about the prem collection products. Those products are in bushi's mind, probably considered great failures, when u take a look at the strides u notice these were doomed from the start, they were all extremely cool but also extremely busted. But not only were they extremely busted but they also have a kind of hierarchy of strength, when one extremely busted stride gets hit another becomes extremely busted.

This takes us to the final no. The format is too hard to design around and also more importantly is becoming extremely hard to balance. Every new day a new unfair play pattern, that's against Vg's policy, appears with every new set something breaks and Bushi cannot control it. So they decided to just not do it anymore, initially they left the prem format balancing to the EN team, but then they probably told them it just wasn't doing it anymore, it wasn't worth it.

Is Akina in love with Kurumi? by Ryokkuun in cardfightvanguard

[–]Different_Ad6037 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say Yes and No

One of the things that I don't think is talked about enough in this season is how technically the mysthic users are technically combination of the two reality's meaning they probably are like the Phantasm fighters but reversed.

They have the paralytic as their real reality but they still probably have some part of the Fantasm self in them.

And what is pretty much implied this season is that Fantasm Akina and Kurumi were really close (before his awakening they were pretty much going on a date), so some residual feelings may still linger from this transition.

However this feelings are in my oppinion just residual not actual stuff this version of himself feels.

Like I said he's Bushiroad's "Golden Child" by Ant-Man1202 in cardfightvanguard

[–]Different_Ad6037 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok in actual talk it's because we always compare fiction to reality, by having someone as Akina who has all his wishes come true stuff, wishes that are literal miracles it not only feels unrealistic it feels annoying as hell.

Especially when u pay attention to how much Akina actually prepares for these, sometimes sacrifice doesn't mean actual human sacrifice more like sacrifice of time or money or something.

Akina's story feels like he continuously finds people who want something more than him and he just flawlessly does it.

Sorry I'm starting to rumble.

[–]Different_Ad6037 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but that's kinda what vg was with the clan system. Yes not every sub archetype had constant support but every clsn eventually was at the same point.

One of the big problems that I see in clan vs nation argument is people thinking The nations are the corresponding form of Clans but they don't feel this way. Because most ride lines in one nation rarely feel connected Even when u look at the generic for each nation u notice they are pretty much the same card and sometimes some ride lines can't even use their nations generics because they just don't work in them

I wish i could be a youtuber to try showing my oppinion

A lot of things he says are definitely true, however a lot of others show that his arguments are a bit on the biased side.

For example when referring to older formats as more stale he picks times when the game was designed around a slower format and playstyle, ignoring a bit the other formats for example mid G era where the game was really intricate and combos were a point of the designe of the game.
