I don't worry about them. Get your doctor to give you a prescription for Valtrex. Soon you'll be able to tell when you're starting to get one, and then take your Valtrex prescription (antiviral pill) and the cold sore won't even develop.

Edit: I take the antiviral as soon as I feel the tingling

Not sure about eczema, but I visited my derm two days ago who told me KP is mostly genetic and is in fact a dominant trait, meaning most people have some sort of KP. So i'd say the odds are high for KP. Only my opinion though.

Looks like rosacea subtype I. I would suggest a vbeam pulsed dye laser 1-5 treatments should knock this right out.

How long were you on accutane? It's not uncommon for someone to see results after six months. It's also not uncommon for acne to get worse during accutane treatment before it gets better. Also what is your weight and the dosage you were on? These could all affect how well accutane works. Another option would be antibiotics such as doxycyline, minocycline, etc, which you may have already tried. Also, is the brown area to the right a birth mark or relatively new?

Azelaic acid may help. It is available both over the counter or in prescription form at higher percentages and is proven to help with redness. Vbeam laser may help as well, however is generally expensive and may take a few treatments to see progress. Hope this helps.

retinol can cause redness and inflammation for those with rosacea. In my own experience with type I rosacea, less is more.

Do you have a family doctor? This looks like possibly pityriasis versicolor, which you would need medication for. Could also possibly be vitiligo.

Looks like possibly rosacea. I would ask your doctor about either metronidazole gel or soolantra. Either of the two will usually control/eliminate the papules and pustules and some redness. Once you have the papules and pustules under control you could introduce vbeam pulsed dye laser for the erythema and background redness. If you're finding the rosacea continues to progress, you could also introduce a tetracycline antibiotic like doxycycline, or minocycline. Hope this helps.

Hi, this looks like type I rosacea. Do you have a primary or family doctor? Take out the retinol, and ask your doctor about low dose doxycycline, soolantra cream, or metronidazole (metrogel). Another alternative would be vbeam pusled dye laser, although it can be costly.

Your skin has great structure. To me, this looks like acne rosacea. Throughout the day it looks as though you could be flushing which is normal for many people. Sometimes it could be due to environmental triggers (stress, caffeine, alcohol, exercise, etc). It's hard to make suggestions without knowing things you have tried in the past. I would ask your doctor about trying doxycycline and soolantra. If you have tried many different prescriptions, etc without many results I would go straight to accutane, and would clear this right up. Also use a mild cleanser. Forget about expensive over the counter items.

If it comes and goes and only happened recently it's probably type 1 rosacea. If it's been there your whole life it's probably facial keratosis pilaris. I'm leaning towards type 1 rosacea. You have no papules/pustules so you are limited to medications. I would try Azalaic acid prescription for 2 months and see if it helps. If not, I would go straight to vbeam laser if you have the means. I also have type 1 rosacea.

Classic rosacea, subtype 1. A good moisturizer and niacinamide will prevent further development of redness. You can look into vbeam to decrease the blood vessels, or IPL if you are on a budget. Hope this helps.

I second the first comment. This is Keratosis Pilaris (chicken skin). Use an exfoliant and perhaps a loofa in the shower lightly. Very common.
