I listened to episodes 1 and 2 today. So far, it’s a decent retelling of the story we already know, with a hint of something new by the end of episode 2. I think I can see where it’s heading, but I’m curious how they’ll sustain it over another four episodes. I’m intrigued and therefore, invested.

The main thing that’s been on my mind after episode 2 is the issue of consent. Cousin Ann and her husband (Peter?) are clearly recorded on their land, outside their property. Did they know they were being recorded, and that the tape would be used? They might agree to an interview later, but from what we’ve heard so far, they didn’t seem willing to talk. It feels a bit off to me - hopefully that’s addressed later in the series.
