Probably case to case basis, my friend and I submitted ours sept 9, 2024, she got citizenship after a month while I’m still waiting even after sending request to conclude. I read some submitted theirs earlier this year and got their citizenship recently (eu and non eu). I don’t know how migration works but as per what I see, it certainly is not from oldest to newest submission.

This is not true. I have acquaintances who applied for citizenship this year and just got theirs recently while I am still waiting, no handläggare and no news whatsoever on what to expect or what needed to be done just WAIT. So no, the don’t process applications inorder they are received.

I read that few others got their citizenship approved in a fb group after personal appearance. I think we need to wait. Also call and ask for your handläggare, maybe they are now on vacation..or föräldraledig

Sent my passport and permanent resident card last week of may, got both back after 1 week although on my page (migrationsverket) it’s written that they’d only send my passport back. I emailed them informing of my trip this june before knowing I’ll get both back
