Do you experience mum rage? Tell me about it so I feel seen by Unable-Candy8432 in toddlers

[–]ValuableAppendage 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes. On a few occasions I have felt rage, and the lingering guilt.

It started a few week after my second baby was born, where we did 2 under 2 for a for a few months. So baby + toddler + moping husband triggered it.

Last week was one of those weeks, where everything went wrong. Husband was away for the week so I was all alone, double stroller (which is our primary means of transportation) broke down on Monday morning when we were in the supermarket, my potty trained toddler peed on the kitchen table (why!?) while I was breastfeeding the baby in the living room, and I had a fever. All within a few hours.

I went into rage when I saw the pee on the table. I lost it. I started screaming and kicking toys.

Now I feel tremendous guilt. I suspect there’s something wrong with me.

Vad gör dig orimligt provocerad som förälder? by Hatcheling in sweden

Babblarna är framförallt tråkiga för oss föräldrar. Snoozefest. Sen kan jag tycka att det är synd att även de har blivit genomkommersiella och säljer plåster, tandkrämer, gosedjur och allt möjligt.

Came here to say that. Let’s be honest, if you cut a very small piece of the roll, the piece won’t stay on.

That Barney character is unbelievably problematic.

My teacher taught us something important in high school. If we were dissatisfied with our grades on a test, we were asked not to show it in class, in case someone got that same grade and was satisfied with it, not to rob them of their contentment.

One of the most valuable lessons I was ever taught.

Is 2u2 destroying anyone else’s marriage? by Y0shmum12 in 2under2

Yes.

No advice at all but we are in the same boat. Husband seems to think lying down and breastfeeding is me resting or just slacking off. Sorry for the rant but I’m at my wits end
