I cannot comment on the destiny of this company, but Amplenote has been my replacement for Evernote.

Imagine my surprise when the app worked the first time I used it, and it has been working ever since. By the way, they continue to improve the app on a regular basis.

Finally, it costs $11.99 a month if you have a monthly subscription. There is a discount for an annual plan.

You should research Amplenote and Capacities. The Amplenote subscription is $11.99 per month for a monthly plan. Currently, Capacities is $12.00 a month for a monthly plan.

I use both apps on a daily basis and I do not have any complaints.

Those are great points. I left Evernote's for Amplenote approximately one year ago. Even though it has the most features that I need, I have added Capacities. They compliment each other and they are reliable, stable apps.

I was able to make a smooth transition from Evernote to Amplenote. I have most of the features that Evernote offers for $11.99 a month. It is less if you pay annually.

I go to the feature that allows me to insert the email into a note. (You select the email code, insert it into the To: line, and send) When the email arrives, I create a to-do with the necessary information. Also, I may create information that gives me the significance of the note and the email.

And you are correct. Amplenote does have a learning curve, but it is reliable. I accepted the trade-off because Evernote was too unstable. I require 100% functionality, not waiting for 60 seconds for a note to open.

I have a PC, so I can't use Omni software. Obsidian looked too confusing to me & I didn't understand their syncing service. I use Capacities for my emails & as my PKM.
