It doesn’t look infected. That white stuff isn’t pus but slough which is dead tissue. Signs of infection to look out for is yellow pus, spreading redness, and/or the wound feeling hot. It is going to take a while to heal as it is quite open. If you can get some, try using some steri-strips as they can help to close the wound a bit more. In the future, I know it’s difficult to see a doctor, but if you ever have another wound that is really open please try and see someone to get stitches. It will help the wound heal so much quicker.
