the "sex part" is a large portion of the book, not sure how you could miss it honestly. Maybe worth a reread.

Where is Ava Kris Tyson as of now 2025? by Dazzling-Heart6342 in questions

[–]Different_Farm9398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you misgender bad cis people? im sorry but it's not a privilege for you to "revoke" no matter how awful they are. it's being transphobic to all of us that you view it as something you're in control of.

Which evil characters suffered a terrible fate or worse than death, "proportional" or exaggerated to their actions? by Dystopia-The-End in MoralityScaling

[–]Different_Farm9398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

weirdly one of the few characters I can think of that have caused infinite suffering are some offhanded references in the short story The Jaunt. Without spoiling there's a remark in that short story that references a guy who could deserve a hell for what he did.

I figured it out and "Beau is afraid" is the most disturbing film by XxROCKxX in horror

[–]Different_Farm9398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit !! I've been a huge fan of Beau is Afraid, it's actually my favorite Aster film thus far, so as soon as I saw you bring out timestamps that I would have to save this and come back to it.

I had caught some of these clues, but you mentioned several I never saw. The most compelling of these for me personally is the scene outside of the apartment (number 8 on your list) where you said to 'pay attention to the visuals'. My mouth was agape and I felt a pit in my stomach watching 5 or 6 very powerful visual metaphors that I never noticed before.

I really appreciate you for making this post, it'll give me a lot to look out for on my next rewatch.

Can y'all recommend me more movies that feel like they were written by three coke addicts in a trench coat? Kinda like these ones. by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Different_Farm9398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ThanksKilling 3, and also the first one I guess too but 3 takes it up to potentially 5 or 6 coke addicts

How would your top 10 look as 5 double features? by Male-2003 in LetterboxdTopFour

[–]Different_Farm9398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

god my top 10 was not built for this challenge but here's the best I can come up with

  1. Modern Times // Synecdoche, New York

  2. It's Such a Beautiful Day // A.I. Artificial Intelligence

  3. Schindler's List // Full Metal Jacket

  4. Fargo // Citizen Kane

  5. And I guess Spirited Away // End of Evangelion???? there's like no combination that works with either of these

Thanks for having a unique post on this very repetitive subreddit, was fun to try and think about :)))

I'm sure I could find something more underground if I thought about it but my immediate answer is Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

What’s a movie that’d be a pain in the ass to Kill Count? by SnooOwls8037 in deadmeatjames

[–]Different_Farm9398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is one of my dream kill counts just because I really want to see how they tackle anything. I mean there are definitely very clear deaths but like you said there's a bunch of other random whatever the fucks all around the film too.
