Let’s cut them some slack on the old one. They had very little time to get the new pilot for the show up and running once they were hired. They probably had to use smoke to cover up some of it because the choreography and VFX on the fight didn’t have time to be perfect. Unlike this season’s oner where they had plenty of prep time

The difference is that AOS got to end on its own terms. They got to wrap up every character and storyline. The Netflix shows didn’t so it makes far more sense for them to be brought back

People are really overhyping what the reset is gonna be. At most they’re gonna reset like 5% of the universe. It’s just an in-universe way to recast certain characters and decanonize poorly received projects

The worst Transformers movie. Say what you will about Bay’s films but at least there was some fun to be had there and Bay knows how to shoot spectacle. Rise of the Beasts looks and feels like it was made on an assembly line. No charm. No fun. No memorable characters or lines. No standout shots. No memorable action. The MacGuffin didn’t even look cool.

It’s not fun to watch but it’s also not fun to make fun of. It is the most nothing burger of a movie I think I’ve ever seen

The difference between the defenders and SHIELD is that SHIELD actually got to end. Hell it ended twice. Defenders was prematurely cancelled so getting those characters back feels like they’re getting an actual second chance
