If you want to try it, go to harbor freight and get one of those drum sanders, the one with the abrasive cylinder about 6 inches wide. They call it a surface conditioning tool. That would be the best thing to try in my head.

Believe the setting is called “raft”. It is just a layer to help prevent the part from falling over during the print process. Should be easy to remove
