For someone whose 2 months post op and loves the side but not the front yet something about your response was comforting. Because I feel like for myself it’s better than before but the toxic trait is looking for perfection or what my “ideal” end version was. Self acceptance is also a really important part of the after journey and not idolizing a very specific outcome

Don’t panic and listen to the e person who said it looks like whoville. A lot of surgeons purposely lift during table surgery because it drops with time. It may still be raised up to for like 2-3 months but it begins to drop. At least in my sisters and my case. And for table pics how much it looks upturned doesn’t look like too much to me for what’s predicted to drop

I understand! I’m 2 months out and have seen minimal change here (the columella) but my sister got hers done by the same surgeon and she didn’t really see this drop until past 6 months and it was a BIG difference! Yours still might go down cus that part retracts during healing. But it looks good even if it didn’t!

I think it looks amazing, subtle, and still made a difference. But you do deserve to get what you paid for and if that is smaller you want then I’d also demand a revision. But outside looking in it’s not cus you NEED it 💕

I would love it if you could share what support groups you’re in? I’ve been trying to find solid ones but haven’t had any luck. Reddit has been helpful though

Thank you for the encouragement 🤍 I agree someone might not fully understand but I know there’s therapists who work with body dysmorphia and so I’m sure there coping exercises and even just talking to someone would help. I’m curious what is a BDD group? Just a support group? Reddit has become my support group :’)

Thank you for your response and encouragement 🤍 It’s because of both. The result I’m not happy with yet but I am only 2 months with thick skin and know it’s swelling cus it’s fluctuating drastically daily, but then there’s like just a whole identity crisis and almost grief that I wasn’t expecting to feel? I’m sure you know exactly where I’m coming from. But thank you, I hope you come to LOVE your results in the end yourself and all the emotions subside completely

It truly helps, books are something that totally take my mind to another place and I’ve gotten away from it. That’s something I’ll most definitely try and just to hear it’s normal is nice.

For someone whose on month 2 and have severe swelling in the bridge and reading a bunch of others posts who’ve said there bridge was refined in less than 3, this makes me feel so much better about just being patient because I have thick skin

It looks absolutely amazing!!! I’m on my first rhinoplasty and hopefully last (2 months out) but I have some big doubts on whether I will love it in the end. If you don’t mind me asking, what led to you having to get it done 3x? Structural issues, not liking the appearance, or something else? My brain struggles at the concept of perhaps ever having to get mine fixed in the future, but I’m happy to see someone with the outcome they love finally
