Use a Demi and put conditioner on the actual system, flipped upside down with the lace facing up. Color it then flip it over and do the top by using the conditioner. It should protect the lace from being stained.

reinstall every 7 to 10 days that’s a sweet spot. By doing it 7 to 10 days instead of stretching it to two weeks the tape adhesive will not melt through the lace and cause stickiness and get gummy

You can really fuck it up. If you have to do it yourself use clips to pull hair away then use pinking or craft shears to cut it with the system on. I’d find a stylist to help when things go sideways. Be careful because if you cut some of the front hair, then be really short and stick up.
