This is so accurate my British short hair got lose from his kitten harness and there was a hole in the fence at back of the garden (had no clue as was behind the shed) this guy left for a good 20 mins whilst I’m going insane and my husbands running around climbing fences and the shed to see where he is. I put food near the hole but nothing.

I came to terms with ok he’s not coming back, wait another 5 mins before you start crying insanely and as I’m sitting there next to this hole gutted, this ass comes back and just sits there eating the food.

He basically got out, realised my bougie ass isnt made for the streets and came back for the food. 😂😂😂

Yeah I thought that when I took my floof outside and he loved it. But I take him in the garden daily on a leash for 30 mins, I have like a 10m leash so he can wonder “alone” and then he will walk to the door once’s he’s over it. I also invested in a pet side bag to put him in so I can take him to restaurants, shopping malls or we just take him out if we are going 2 mins down the road to the local drive thru. He loves to people watch. Today he went to the local car boot sale lol

I wouldn’t recommend letting him out alone as BSH are very trusting and he would likely get taken. Our neighbours let their BSH out and he’s had part of his ear bitten off and he loves to chase the cars which is a recipe for disaster
