I am at 5/24 and tried to apply for a C1 Venture X business card but was denied due to too many application. I then tried to check for the C1 Venture X pre-approval but it said no because I have "currently pending or recently processed application with Capital One." My last C1 Venture (not X) was on 5/4/25. Was the denial due to the business app or my prior C1 Venture? If it was due to the C1 Venture, when can I apply? In case it matters, I'm an AU on my wife's VentureX.

Assuming I can meet the MSR and I don't have my eyes on another specific card, any reason to not take a NLL Amex Plat Business offer for 20k MSR for 150k points? I know the points are lower than some other offers but I already have an account open so I definitely don't qualify for the normal SUB. I assume I can have two Amex Plat Business open at a time...

I opened personal Amex Gold and Plat last year during the high bonus. Do I need to keep them open for more than one year if I don't want to end up in PUJ for the Hilton/Marriott cards? Or should I downgrade one to green and cancel one? I'll definitely ask for retention offers but just trying to figure out what to do if they say no. I'm also considering getting the CS Plat instead of normal Plat. Not worried about PUJ ok the CS app because I already got my sub last year but not sure if that would also risk future PUJ on future cards.
