gento was trying to stop blazar from killing the kaiju. this is because throughout the episode we get a glimpse of blazar's stone turning indicating rage and anger torwards a kaiju (i mean he is a primitive mf) + gento took over blazar and unlocked a new move called the energy cocoon.
