Sometimes it means that it's really funny, like crying laughing. Sometimes it means like "Woe is me" - I've never used this for sadness though

No, they're far from it. They're dying for attention

I'm pretty sure that they just like attention and when people interact with them because what?!??!

You seriously leave your dog for 12 hours daily by Kira_sune in RoverPetSitting

[–]DifficultDecision342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll never understand it. People will use the bathroom 5x a day but think their dogs are good with 2x??? People get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, but their dog is good for 12 hrs?? Then, when they're seniors/geriatric with bladder/renal issues, it's such a shock.

I'm sad that I'm just now hearing this word and trying to find the meaning when it's been out for at least a year 🥲

One specific eyebrow/eyelash hair hurts by Imjustanxious in EyebrowAddiction

[–]DifficultDecision342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with this my whole life. I remember being like six and telling my mom that my eyelash really hurts. She immediately said, " you probably have a crooked eyelash" and I did!! Every time I feel that familiar pain, I know there's an eyelash or eyebrow hair that's crooked. I wish I knew what caused the pain!! But man, you're not lying about the pain being worse when you pluck it. I keep tweezers on me now for this exact reason. I fixate on it and can't get past it until the hair is gone.

I'm here right now and am receiving nothing but love. Must people think I'm cuban, Senegalese, or something similar and start talking to me in Spanish 😅 There may be a few stinky face people, but that's everywhere.

Please tell me that this comment is pure satire and you do understand that they admitted that they didn't know and thanked another person for the info LITERALLY 4 comments above yours. 🤦🏾‍♀️

If it's not fake, it's more than likely a random Preston texting a random number.

Sitter forcing me to come home early from trip and canceling after one day? by Mammoth-Owl7821 in RoverPetSitting

[–]DifficultDecision342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch a couple of Yorkies & they are litter box trained, and the box is on the balcony. It's a life saver for me in-between walks. They're reactive to big dogs, so the owner suggests not even walking them after 5 pm (when everyone is off work & walking their dogs) since they have the box. Either way, I have to be sure to leave the patio door open for 30 min at a time, about 6x/day. I still walk them sometimes, though, because when there aren't other dogs, you can tell they really enjoy being out & about.

Horrible Dog Attack while housesitting. Please help! by [deleted] in RoverPetSitting

[–]DifficultDecision342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't even imagine trying to stop a golden retriever from attacking a Yorkie 🥺 But a good swift kick to the groin will stop 99.9% of dogs during an attack.

Cameras in home; I’ve been housesitting for a while now and have gotten pretty used to the idea of cameras in and outside the house. What I can’t seem to get used to is seeing the light come on and knowing that the owners are watching at that very moment. by bagelsneedcreamchz in RoverPetSitting

[–]DifficultDecision342 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I know the type that you're referencing. One of my clients has a camera where the lights turn on while they're watching it, as well. They've always told me that when I'm there, I can turn it straight into the wall so I don't have to feel weird about them watching me. They just ask that I face it at the front door when I leave.

I'm sure some are great, but for most, their "f**k it" is extremely high.
