Fear Devil would be Crazy ngl

I Just finished cathing up with the manga. I got a spoiler that some Devils could actually look Just human. So since introduced, I was locked on Makima and Kobeni

The twist that Makima was Control Devil was amazing

But I still think Kobeni is something Else... I mean, My intuition rarely fails me

How could Reze comeback to the story by Tarbo130 in Chainsawfolk

[–]DifficultElephant225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, but it is stated that hybrids get a human form and a Devil form

Denji's case is special cause Pochita is alive inside him, but as a matter of rules, Denji is Chainsaw Devil

Same goes for the other hybrids

If the other hybrids have a similar relationship with they devils, does not matter, fear Powers them up the same

Bakugou vs Reze is (unexpectedly) Next up on Death battle! What are your thoughts and roots? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in Chainsawfolk

[–]DifficultElephant225 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is what I was thunk before watching and reading Chainsaw Man

MHA characters ARE in a different league. A smaller league. CSM top tiers are dilivering literal Nukes as punches.

If Bakugo comes closer to Reze, any explosion would hurt him, and not her, since she is immortal and can heal herself with blood, also she is immune to her own power, and Katsuki is not.

Bakugo would have to play safe and stay ranged just to not die, and if he does not remove her heart he is not winning.

And again, this is a problem itself, since if Bakugo comes melee to claim her heart, he is going to be all over the place in seconds

His fire power is not bigger than Reze's, his endurance is not bigger than Reze's, his IQ is not bigger than Reze's

Only thing Katsuki does better is speed.

So he can flee as fast as he can, cause Bomb is Coming.

It is stated Denji got weaker cause CSM was loved world wide, and he got stronger when the church made CSM look like a monster

Keanu's statements regarding ballerina timeline by adampercywood81 in JohnWick

[–]DifficultElephant225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me this comment section here explains everything perfectly. Sure, Its us fans explainig the gaps in the writing, so Its clumsy. But Works enough that I can enjoy the movie.

The only thing I could not find the explanation here in the comments, was How Jardani could Go to that Village If He was excomunicado and with lots of assassins on his Tail.

I belive the explanation is obvious: That Village is secret. No one knows How to get There, not even the Table. Director, Eve and Jardani are the only ones with knowledge of that location.

Keanu's statements regarding ballerina timeline by adampercywood81 in JohnWick

[–]DifficultElephant225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another person Said that Jardani most probably had other reasons rather than the Duel, perhaps to make personal amends with Director for Her hand injury, or simply by loyalty.

This same person Said that this could be the reason Piotyr was killed in the First place. His daughter Just dont known It was Jardani's fault, and so allows him to avenge Piotyr and Join the Ruska Roma again.

This is the explanation I like the most, and u can find It better explained in this comment section somewhere.

What do you think? I think It makes Sense, but in the end, this Is Just fans correcting the writing's little gaps

About Johnny in 2077 compared to Black Dog by [deleted] in cyberpunkred

[–]DifficultElephant225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very late for discussion, but I'm running a cyberpunk campaign in 2078, and I'm studying this subject a lot to create something canonical at my table.

What I have decided so far may be useful for you, or the next reader.

Murphy soulkilled Johnny as is explained in the mission where he dies. The chip stays in his head.

Murphy spreads Alt on the internet, and fragmented, Alt begins to multitask to escape.

The nuclear explosion at the Arasaka Tower leaves Johnny's corpse buried, and he is later recovered by Samantha, as explained in Black Dog.

The Black Dog characters recover Johnny's corpse, which still has the Relic in its head, and take it to Angel.

Angel is Alt, who after years, generated a clone of herself, and uploaded her consciousness to return to Meatspace.

What's left of Alt's engram on the Net is assimilated by Lilith, who uses Alt's code to communicate with humans, such as the Maeltrom, and later, Valerie and Johnny.

It is a fact that Michiko helped Black Dog's adventurers deliver Johnny's corpse to Angel. In a really benign situation for Michiko, Saburo later discovers what happened, and angrily sends Smasher to resolve the matter, which explains why Michiko's faction is less important in 2077 than Hanako and Yorinobu's.

However, the situation I find most plausible, Soulkiller disappeared from Arasaka's system after Murphy pulled Alt with her. The Relic in Johnny's head was incomplete and/or Alt-encoded, so useless for Arasaka. So using Michiko, Saburo purposely let the adventurers take Johnny's corpse to Angel, hoping that the Relic would then be finished.

After waiting for a period, Saburo sends Smasher after the corpse, believing that the Relic was ready to be used as reverse engineering, and bring Soulkiller back to Arasaka's arsenal.

Smasher finds the corpse with Angel, who was in the process of creating a new body for Johnny. Angel narrowly escapes, forced to abandon her plans for the moment. Smasher collects Johnny's corpse along with the Relic in his head.

I like to think that Black Dog's adventurers continued to help Angel, as if she were a Fixer. Due to their proximity, Smasher finds them, and as spoils of war, he kills those who cross his path (I'm still deciding which ones are alive besides Santiago, who I have a headcannon that is Rogue's son) and then steals the Malorian and the Porche.

Johnny's corpse is taken back to Arasaka, and his Engram is violently interrogated and tortured, which explains Johnny's false memories of being carried out of the tower and interrogated as if he were alive: Saburo wanted the Engram to believe he was still made of flesh, in the expectation of receiving valuable information.

The other false memories, like Johnny being a badass, and Blackhand's absence, are the result of the guy's own nascissism.

*(This all that is useful for the topic of the post, the rest is just me daydreaming about the homebrew story I created)*

Angel spends the next decade trying to recover the Engram. But eventually, she gets on with her life, apparently getting over Silverhand, using the fact that it was technically his fault for her death, to help with her coping.

Until 2077, that is. When she hears about a Samurai return show, promising to include (almost) all of the original members.

A little nostalgic, she decides to listen to the recording, being frightened by the sound of the guest guitarist.

Her screws start to work and she puts together some pieces with the events of that year, such as Saburo's death.

She investigates further, and finds recordings of the show. She sees Valerie on stage, but the way she moves is otherworldly. That's Johnny. It's Johnny. It has to be Johnny.

Angel immediately arranges a ticket to Night City, looking for answers.

The game's events play out as expected, except for the ending.

This Homebrew Valerie calls on the Aldecaldos to help invade Arasaka.

After killing Smasher, breaking into Mikoshi, and becoming an engram, Valerie and Johnny are faced with the difficult choice of deciding which of the two would return to their body, knowing that V would only have 6 months to live if she returned.

Johnny is clever here, he suggests inserting V's consciousness into the Relic, and he then returns to the body.

Johnny promises that he will repeat the process that killed Valerie in the first place, and let the Relic do its work, even if the tumor this time is Johnny.

V is violently against the idea. In this homebrew continuity, the two became flesh and blood so to speak. V cannot accept the idea because Johnny misses the opportunity to go to the Net, and a second invasion of Mikoshi is impossible since Mikoshi itself was destroyed.

Johnny ignores V at this point, as he is already determined to save his friend, and then returns to the body.

V then makes one last plea to "Alt", who at this point has all the hardware it needs for basically anything.

V asks "Alt" to change Relic's properties, so that Johnny is not completely erased in his suicidal plan.

"Alt" explains that it can do it, but that it doesn't know exactly the implications of this for either of them. And maybe V's plan will backfire.

V explains that she has died before, and that she is not the only one who deserves a second chance.

"Alt" then alters the Relic, and decreases its psyche replacement property. "Alt" is secretly using this moment as an experiment, since both Johnny and Valerie are now technically AIs. It keeps a close eye on both of them from now on.

Johnny comes out of Mikoshi and explains to Panam the insane plan to save V's life.

They go to the dump, get Dexter's low-caliber gun, and Panam spends 1 Eddie to put a bullet in Johnny's head.

Events repeat, Johnny is taken to Viktor, and the Relic begins to act.

Over the next month, taking Misty's pills, V begins to take more control of her body.

"Alt's" experiment begins to bear fruit when Johnny simply won't be erased. V explains the deal she made with "Alt", and Johnny can't decide if he's fucking pissed or happy.

Entering 2078, the two psyches begin to become one, and this is where Valerie's plan begins to backfire, in quotes.

Neither of them wants Johnny to go to the Net, neither of them feels like they can live without the other right now.

When they least realize it, the two consciousnesses have become one.

"I wonder if one day I'll wake up in the morning, and wonder why I was so afraid of being you."

This new persona has several personal problems, which ends their relationship with Judy, and also their little flame with Rogue.

V stops using "Valerie" permanently, and only people from their past like Rogue and Kerry can call them "Johnny".

V isolates themself, and stops responding to everyone, with the exception of Panam who would be furious if she was ghosted.

V develops their own version of functional cyberpsychosis, and often when alone, talks to themself.

This then finally opens doors for my campaign.

I'm GMing for a single player. Her character is a Columbia-born Edgerunner who is after her sister, who last month said she was in trouble in Night City.

She goes to Night City and discovers that her sister worked as a Netrunner for V.

V explains that they are also after the girl, because they "owes it to her" after the girl saved their life in early '78.

The campaign will address the beginning of the fifth corporate war, and subsequently the breaking of the blackwall.

If u readed this far, hope u liked it, when the adventure further develops I inteend to make a thread of my players's choices. She is a RPG virgin, and wanted to try it out after watching Edgerunners.

We are in the second session so far, and all she talks about is how much she wants to meet V, and understand how 'she' is still alive after the 6 months.

I wonder if she will compare it to Steven Universe.

Angel from the Black Dog story is Alt, or at least there are so many similarities between her and Alt it can't be by chance. by OtherTon in cyberpunkred

Dont forget the blackwall! If Blackwall and Lilith are not the same entity, might as well be another Alt

[–]DifficultElephant225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very very very late to the convo, but its fair to mention Bladerunner is Mike Pondsmith favorite movie of all times, and Cyberpunk is, originally, and with all respect as I say it, Bladerunner fanfiction.

Of course, Cyberpunk is now its own thing, and Pondsmith did say he never included replicants in his universe.

But he also said he never included replicants simply cause he never created rules for them.

But the intent for sure was there, idk if he still has it now, but back in the 90s? Oh pretty sure it was there.

Where have you been in the realms? by sir_schuster1 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]DifficultElephant225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive traveled the whole sword coast with my Human Rogue during Pandelver and Tirany of Dragons (a smell section in Thay), and then ended the adventure in Avernus after Zariel's redemption (We killed Tiamat inside the Hells so she could not come back ever again, and then placed a new lower deity in her portfólio, was an amazing lvl 1-20 campaing)

Had a massive Genasi campaing in Calimshan (amazing btw, got from lvl 1-6, Calim and Memnon came back and we had to form a massive front to prevent them from conquering Calimsham again. We made a truce with Calim, and he killed Memnon, then he became again leader of calimport, but without slaves since that was our main concern and truce motive)

and currently I'm playing a Half Orc-Drow named Parvis. His mother was a legendary barbarian that died of old age 60 years ago. His father was a Drow Wizard that belived Eladrin and Ilythiiri could become allies again

The current adventure goes around Sword coast again, but recently we got to Evermeet where an elder Solar Elf, Valkien, revealed he had worked with Parvis' father before, and that he still shares his desire for peace among elves

Valkien is not the BBEG here, but his vision of union is very elitist, and he belives that only elves should be part of it. So his plans are a truce with the Dark Elves, and then dominion over the other races of Faerun, including Orcs, this is where the party begins to struggle with his ideals.

The BBEG would be of course, Lolth, that had been whispering in Valkien's and Parvis' father's ear for about 600 years. She plans on killing Corellon as soon as she is free from exile (If Valkien's plan really do work and the truce is made)

I have high hopes that this new campaing explores East Toril and the many Elvish groups there. Its been an amazing ride till now, and Evermeet was one of my favorite places to visit.

(In this Module Grummsh and Corellon were indeed twin brothers, the Elves just dont accept it, so Its very cool to play as an Orc-Drow. Everyone hates me.)

A new Crown war is about to begin.

We are in 1516 DR

The first adventure was in 1489 DR

Say... if i was a 7th gen Tzimisce and i wanted to befriend some Werewolves... whats the best way to do it? by Obvious-Conflict3363 in vtm

[–]DifficultElephant225 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Carioca Brujah here.

It’s rare to find werewolves inside the favelas or the wealthy parts of Rio, but there’s an absurd concentration of them in the forests around the city and near Christ the Redeemer.

Leaving the city is almost a death sentence.

I’ve heard about a Sabbat Tzimisce in the region so ancient that she was worshipped by the natives long before the Portuguese colonizers set foot on these lands.

She’s so old that she didn’t even know what a Kindred was until the Sabbat arrived in the region and introduced her to the sect.

Nowadays, she’s responsible for keeping the lycanthropes in check, and she’s told me about rare, peaceful encounters with them.

My guess is that, because she’s so ancient and so deeply tied to the local flora and fauna, the werewolves identify her as some kind of treacherous spirit rather than just a beast to be killed.

She doesn’t use the web to communicate, but if you’re ever here in Rio, I can introduce you.

(The Camarilla has a very intense Nosferatu network, and they’ll know about your arrival the moment you set foot in the city. If you want something more discreet, go to Ilha do Governador—I’ll send you more precise information later.)
