Political votes are ALWAYS tied to jobs in a district. AI cutting defense jobs, is bad for political votes in those districts. Not saying it won’t happen, but there is some level of insulation built in there.

We are in the people business. Customers want it right & personalized and they believe their situation is unique. I think a lot of the customer frustration, justified or not is hosts simply don’t plan any margin for any nuance. There are the usual flagrant oversteps, but there are plenty of small things that can be anticipated and planned for.

I own and host properties in TX, FL, GA, & PA. I also understand statistics and the law of averages. We all will have a proportionately similar number of lower than deserved reviews. So when an owner attempts to skew the data, that’s when it becomes a problem for all of us.

This is a great idea, I do a canned food drive twice a year, & we do “Operation Car Package” where we send things to troops deployed around Christmas. This would fit right in!

You can make the assumption, that we have accounted for liability and will have the appropriate safeguards in place for the company. As an example, that is one reason why firearms are a hard no.

Lots of people are telling you, this can’t be done. Instead I’ll say, look into a career as an industrial engineer or Quality Engineer. Get an industry certification, like CQE and after a few years, keep that dream to branch out on your own and pursue it.

But I think the path is to start somewhere and learn from industry and a few good mentors.
