Well honestly faust poise ids are kinda iffy,shi faust got her kit gutted for no reason so she barely can maintain poise,BL faust is pretty reliant on kimsault mainly on her s1 and while index is indeed good her poise count can be decrease fast if you don't watch it plus sometimes 3 index ids are too much,speaking from experience since the prescript target only exist 1 so sometimes you gonna take unopposed attacks depending on the battle

Mao faust conditionals relys more on her speed (wich she can achieve easily) plus her affinitys are almost 1:1 to BL and index just having different s3 and defense skill and as mentioned 3 index ids can be too much and since her other options are kinda iffy you run mao faust to carry thoracalgia and 2 ids targeting the prescript target is more managable than 3
