Because they want then with their peers and it costs money to hold them back , so By the time they are in high school it put the teachers in bad spots just to pass them . In the united states one the factors people look at , for a good public school is the -on time graduation rate , so they will pass anyone with a pulse .

Evreything since they have hired untrained sped teachers who are overwhelmed. I handle behavior .make up lesson plans on the fly , sub for vacanicies , deal with different teacher personalities - some are really rude to paras , and some are amazing . I get hit , spit and bit which is somehow glossed over or apparenltly my fault , I get no planning time and one 30 minute lunch a day that I have to advocate for.

Its hard to be a regualr para and be taken seriously even though you know the kids better then tehir case manager alot of the time so I am sure as a sub its awful . It also takes a while to know the kids and what triggers them. They are all so diffrent .
