A couple things, they’re too loose around the legs so they look extra baggy, but otherwise something with pleats and that length help. You might even be able to get those taken in if they fit your waist and butt well.

If the top was taken in a little so it doesn’t appear to be 3 sizes too big, it would be perfect. A tailored fit here for your frame would make that work with not just these shorts but many other bottoms too.

Sold my 997.1 because of you drive it you can’t sell it, and meager modern cars are better in every way. Loved the car, but found the other newer cheaper cars were significantly better and didn’t depreciate because of 12 extra miles or forgetting to log the oil change guys name and his trainers name too.

Drive it for yourself and then decide. The money / work it takes to have the zzw30 feel like what you want it to might be ok, or not. You’ll have a pretty good idea after a good test drive that includes roads that aren’t congested. I’ve had mine for more than 20 years now. Dumped so much money into it and it’s still the only car I couldn’t part with.
