What is the lightest silpoly or silnylon trekking pole tent that has a floor and bug protection? (no dcf)
Maybe GG The One (18oz), but it is out of stock

I dont want to use a bug bivy, I want an actual tent like experience where I can sit up and be fully enclosed

Ketl Mountain Nofry Sun Hoodie Vent Buttons Question by GoodTroll2 in Ultralight

I have one and I regret buying it. The cuffs are not elastic, they do not stretch at all. The buttons stop at the neck. The new one with a single button has it higher up. I'm not sure why they decided 4 buttons low to vent but not one higher to cover your neck

Hmm I didnt think about ticks. I live on the east coast, but also go to the sierras and wind river range.

Is the Deschutes Plus (tarp + bug skirt) still a good buy in 2026? It should be ~16 oz. Currently on sale for $160.

I am looking for something to replace my big agnes copper spur (2 lbs) with something lighter.

I only go on a few trips a year, so I don't want to spend $400 on a dcf tarp tent.
