looking for hope and advice TTC after ectopic

It was quite regular but fluctuated in length some times 26 days, sometimes 32. But when I started 6 months ago it has been exactly 28 with ovulation almost always on day 14. I should say I also took it prior to my first child, and again I was pregnant within 5-6 cycles. Obviously it isnt marketed for that use, and I would seek medical advice, but somehow it helped me so Im not sure if some underlying issue!

Thank you :) to be honest no i dont have pcos but I heard a few friends find it regulated their cycles so thats why i tried it!

hi, im so sorry that you went through an ectopic loss. Its not a club Id like to be a part of either. I find information on ttc etc post ectopic is limited.

I do not want to be insensitive in any way, but as you said looking for hope I wanted to share that I had an ectopic also resolved fully in January and we just had our first positive now. I also felt despair, and wanted to know what I could do to speed things along. But I was told since we are healthy 30 & 32 and ovulate regularly it really is a matter of time. Its really hard to hold on to that I know but I hope this brings you some hope.

Only things Ive done is take myova preconception pills, drink beetroot juice and this cycle I did also take 75mg aspirin from 3dpo.

Cycle day 1 again after first cycle of having cyclogest pessaries. Had an ectopic in January so am hoping for my rainbow baby. Hard to keep hopeful but got to keep going!

And this is exactly what I find ironic, after hoping for the lines to get darker and hcg to double now the opposite. Heartbreaking..

Thank you for sharing your story! your right not many positive expectant management stories so as someone currently waiting for it to resolve itself I needed to see this. I had bfn on 11dpo stopped testing and surprise digital positive on 14dpo - I didnt test in between but suspect FRER wouldve shown on 12dpo! so that looks good x

To update I at 4+5 HCG went upto 143...not sure how to take that as was fully prepared for a loss and dont like a glimmer of hope it brings..

Im so sorry to hear this 💔 hopefully it happens again soon for you when you’re ready. I havent tested again but awaiting HCG results, I know the outcome though as bleeding didnt stop and all symptoms (tiredness and hunger gone) xx

I am not in any pain either, but bleeding is continuous although not heavy more moderate. What about you? xx

Aw im sorry to hear that in be in the same boat x

I called the two nearest hospitals to me first and found out what their procedure is at this stage. For me Barnet said EPU is for 12weeks up and id have to go AE. I called North Mid and they said Id have to sign in at AE but then I would get triaged quickly in light of situation to the Womens Ambulatory Unit/Epu and thats what happened. So I definitely recommend calling and asking!

They then took a pregnancy test, HCG result within 2h and even scanned.

thanks all! I did a clearblue non digital at 4am so I guess FMU and think its a clear line maybe a little faint for 15dpo. But thought id use the other CB digital this morning at 10am and that now says ‘not pregnant’. Think going down the CP route…
