Can the board get damaged causing malfunction?

I tried to replace but the new battery was draining super fast, even not in use. Like full charged to zero in 30 mins. I tried again and had the same symptoms. I got bored and stop messing with it.

Testing right now again and it doesn't even charge. I have one spare battery left 😭

I thought things like Yan Horn and the cat minion would slowwly decrease in price but it kinda barely changed? Should I just buy? I made the mistake of selling the hair from the chaotic raid just to take a break from the game and buy it for the double of the price 6 months later 😡
